Mia: uh, hi, who is this?

Unknown number: sorry, my name is Luke.

Mia: okay, and you are my new admirer?

Luke: Yep. I got assigned to you for a summer extra credit project.

Mia: oh yeah that thing. So do we have to meet up and stuff or no?

Luke: if you want to we can, but if not, we don't have to.

Mia: well whatever you want.

Luke: I'm the one who is supposed to make you happy, so do you want to meet or just keep this anonymous.

Mia: we can meet. Where and when do you want to?

Luke: well I'm free all day today and tomorrow.

Mia: so am I. So when do you want to meet?

Luke: does right night work?

Mia: sure. Where?

Luke: where ever you want.

Mia: well I'm at the hospital right now because my I don't know what to call him but yeah he's in a coma so...

Luke: well I'll come pick you up, and then we can go do something fun.

Mia: okay. I'll be watching for you. What do you look like?

Luke: I'll be calling you my your name so listen for me. I'll be there in about 10 minutes.

Mia: okay. I'll be watching.

Luke: okay. See you soon.

Mia: Yep.

I was kind of nervous to go meet Luke. I mean yeah, he seems nice. But I don't know if I can trust him quite yet.

"Hey nick, I'm going to be leaving in about 10, I have someone picking me up." "Who?" Should I tell him? "Just a friend." "Is it a boy?" "Why does it matter?" "Well your sleeping boyfriend is in the hospital. You haven't showered in days." "Hey! Brent and I are taking a break right now. I told him we're cool but no he just had to say no."

"Oh. Okay. You'll come back right?" "Of course I will."

I went down to the lobby after 10 minutes. I was still in my jeans and cute shirt. I haven't showered in days from being at the hospital. Do you think he'll mind? Nah.

When I got to the lobby, there was a boy standing there. He was really cute.

He looked like he was texting someone. He locked his phone. I got a text.

Luke: hey, in the lobby.

Mia: so am I.

He looked up and right at me. "Are you Mia?" "Are you Luke?" "Yeah." "Well, hi. I'm Mia." Really Mia!? Really? Way to play it off cool. "Well are you ready to go?" "As ready as I'll ever be."
