"Is this the door?" Noelle whispered to him.

"Yea. On my count," he said. "One..." Jaxton started. Noelle stood back on one leg and then forcefully kicked open the door with the other. It fell back with a loud clang!

She ran into the small cargo room finding Jaide sprung up into the air by chains wrapped around her wrists and still unconscious. Her stomach hasn't grown from the time she's been missing.

Noelle came to a complete stop when she seen him emerge from the dark shadows of the room, his glowing blue eyes focused on her.

"You always loved to pop up with a bang," he murmured.

"And I love to go out with one too!" she pulled her weapons from their sheaths; a small blade in one hand and then a sword that could turn into a rod in the other. It was the only two weapons she was ever skillful in when it came down to killing a Nephilim.

Looking past her, he says, "Jax? Not you too?" Noelle didn't take her eyes off him. All she could think about was Jaide hanging up and helpless unconscious.

"You guys outcasted me," Jaxton said from behind her.

"Enough!" Noelle prepared herself into a battle stand and crouched low to the floor. Her hands had now peeled at the knuckles from her human flesh and into her natural, green skin color.

"Wait, hold on! Now when I heard that there was a condemned soul like this woman here that the devil himself enjoyed so much, he spared her life. I couldn't help but to wonder what made her so different from the rest of them?" He carefully paced back and forth with his eyes fixed on Noelle, his heavy feet stomping with every step he took. He was so huge, he couldn't help but to stomp.

"And just what are you implying?"

"Why else would the Devil constantly have his best demon and henchwoman babysitting a half dead woman and protecting her? He wants to have a little hell spawn, but not on my watch!" The smile on his face was not dark, but a sinister grin.

"What? She's pregnant?" Jaxton exclaimed.

She couldn't talk anymore. Noelle launched forward, throwing the dagger into his thigh before striking him on the head with her rod. Felix grabbed Noelle by the neck with one hand and then tossed her across the room.

When she flipped in the air to attempt to land on her feet, he tackled her into the hard ground. Noelle was fine from the impact until he took the sharp tip of his blade and pierced it into her back. She hollered from the burning pain and plucked the handle of the dagger from his thigh.

Felix tried to block her blows, but she was faster than him. Noelle had swiftly stabbed him into the chest and he made his wing create a deeper and wider wound, going into the other side of her chest. Noelle cried out this time from the pain, holding her head back into the air.

When he tried to get off her, she straddled him at the waist and then bit down into his neck. Felix yelled and then tore free from her.

He turned around to see that the woman was gone and so was Jaxton. "Come back here, you traitor!" he shouted from the top of his lungs.

Noelle struggled to pick herself off the ground, but she couldn't let Jaxton get away with Jaide! She can't grant him the chances of the satisfaction of redemption. Felix turned on his heels and then stormed over to Noelle; he was going to finish her.

"It never surprised me to not see fear in your eyes. Even near death, you're not afraid?" his brows pressed together.

"Hell is my home!" she roared at him before spewing acid into his right eye. Felix released her and stumbled backwards. Noelle landed on her feet, severely hurting herself even more. She held her side, pulled herself together and then tightly clutched her weapons.
