Chapter 5 Home

Third person's pov

"Change of plans. Yes. Order them that there's no more need to fake a business proposal, I have what I wanted with me now"

Elijah said to his PA, John Baldwin, while looking at Meera, sporting a knowing smirk who was sitting beside him in the back seat of his car, hands tied. Although he didn't need to tie her but she made him do so because of her constant slapping, scratching, punching him when he dragged her with him from his office after their first kiss. He was now getting irritated by her continuous yelling of protests, demands of freedom. He hanged up the phone when he was done and turned to her with a cold look,

"Do you want me to shut you up by a kiss? "

She glared at him with hatred she didn't know she had. She was regretting her decision of accepting the job. She had the right gut feeling of it being too good to be true. She said maliciously to him,

"Open my hands, and let me go. I won't go with you anywhere"

"I am taking you with me, there's a difference doe"

He said with an evil smile. Internally she was frightened to her core, externally pretending to be brave to show him that she is not someone who will accept whatever he does. But truth be told she was doing the same with little protests which according to him were entertaining. She looked like an angry kitten to him. Sighing she turned her head to the window looking outside. She decided wherever he was taking her, she will escape from there the moment will get the chance which sure would be less. He grabbed her face and forcefully turned it towards him and gave a sweet smile, saying charmingly,

"Oh doe! Don't look outside when I am beside you. How many times do I have to repeat myself which I certainly don't like"

She shuddered visibly making him smirk. He further leaned to her and kissed the corner of her mouth,

"Better"

and moved back. She felt disgusted but didn't turn her head away from him instead glared hard at him. If looks could kill he would be dead to which he raised an eyebrow at her looking amused. Her blood boiled in anger but she refused to entertain him further so smiled sarcastically at him.

When the car stopped in front of a castle like home which looked otherworldly, it was that beautiful, Meera looked up at it in awe. She has never seen anything like it before. Elijah who was standing beside  after pulling her out of the car bent down and whispered in her ear,

"Glad you liked my house where you will live from now on"

The admiring look replaced by angry frown on her face. She kept quite waiting for a perfect moment to escape, loosing her cool won't help which he wants, patience will. Snaking his hand around her waist which she tried to shrug, he lead her inside his mansion, which was majestic and classy from the inside as well. He sat her on the couch in the living room which was as big as an auditorium filled with antique and expensive pieces. H untied her hands knowing she wouldn't do a thing. Turning towards the man standing behind him who followed them the moment they came, he said,

"Meet my real PA, John Baldwin, doe"

She looked at him in shock,. What PA? It was her not him. Confusingly looking back and forth between the two men when realisation finally dawned on her   she said in a trembling voice which couldn't express the fear engulfing her,

"You.. you purposely brought me here faking my job, it was you all along "

He smirked at her saying,

"Finally you caught it doe. And here I thought I need to explain everything to you"

"Why are you doing this to me? What did I do to you?!!! "

She shouted feeling defeated already, knowing the things he did made her believe the things she heard about him now experiencing them herself. He smiled sinisterly, looking right in her eyes with possessiveness and said,

"Because I want you to be mine and I will do anything to make it happen"

She shivered subconsciously, the determination as clear as day in his eyes, voice firm backing his point. She at this moment regretted ever meeting him, catching his eyes. But what's so special about her ? She is so simple as one can ever be. As if reading her mind he continued his voice low,

"The night I saw you I got mesmerized by everything you are to the point that I felt the strongest urge to claim and have you all to myself "

He was drinking in her beauty, feeling gloated to have her in his home,

"I planned to trap you in a fake business deal by assigning it to you which will fail inevitably resulting in I asking you to compensate by marrying me as already drowned in debt along with five year contract and your home loan, you would have no choice other than to accept"

He confessed leaving her speechless. Her heart raced so fast just by imagining herself in the said situation. She was shook, he is so evil, cruel to do something like that knowing her situation to use it against her, wait her situation-

"How do you know about my home situation? "

She asked feeling anxious already fearing his answer which really left her shell shocked,

"Because I caused it"

He said nonchalantly and looked at her pale face, stiffen figure, her eyes showed disbelief. But did it make him regret anything? No. She opened her mouth staring into space emotionlessly,

"What changed your mind? Did you already get bored to leave me? "

He smiled evilly and sat before her grabbing her chin in his hand which she didn't resist already exhausted and defeated. Looking in her eyes straight he spoke up in a promising voice,

"I can never get bored of you. You are uniquely beautiful, you will belong to me forever however the way I want, anyway I claim. And about changing my mind, today you tested me. You brought out impatience in me. I just couldn't resist your enticing lips anymore hence bringing us here. But that doesn't change one thing"

"What?",

she asked in a shaking voice looking fearfully in his eyes, not liking the look he had as well as what to come out of his mouth. Her heart stopped beating when she heard him say,

"You marrying me, doe"
