Chapter 11

I came out of the shower to find Jinx with my clothes on her.

"You look hot."

She turned back in surprise as she hadn't seen me yet.

"I- sorry... I don't really have any clothes..."

I chuckled and ruffled her hand before giving her an ensemble.

She took them and looked back at me.

"I couldn't throw your favourite outfit out. Good thing I didn't huh? Come on get dressed and we'll go do some shopping." I said with a smile

"Shopping?"

"Yep, one rule though, we don't use the name Jinx outside. People don't remember what you really looked like since it's been so long but I don't want to attract unnecessary attention, let's call you..."

"Powder ..." She whispered.

I looked at her surprised.

Did she say ...

"You can call me Powder outside." She said with a smile.

I got myself dressed and came back to jinx ready. I was surprised to find her with her long hair down and no makeup on...

I had an epiphany...

Jinx now ... Is probably just Powder grown up since none of her misfortunes had happened.

It makes sense why Powder came to her mind now ...

I took my scarf and wrapped it around her. She looked at me.

"It's cold outside." I whispered.

She smiled at me.

"Thanks but now you'll be cold."

I chuckled and caressed her back with my hand.

"Guess you'll just have to warm me up..." I said whispering in her ear and passing my hand under her shirt teasingly.

I backed off and opened the door. When I looked back at her, her face was hidden in her hands.

... Fuck ... She's so cute when she's embarrassed...

She slowly looked back up at me as i gave her my arm.

"I'm not adjusting my glove this time darling."

She hit my shoulder before finally taking my arm. We started walking through the busy market streets. She looked absolutely mesmerized by everything, her eyes filled with lights.

She suddenly found a shop she liked and looked at the price tag.

"Do you like it?" I asked coming behind her.

"Yeah but...-"

"Don't worry about the money." I said looking at her.

"But Achlys-"

"Don't worry about money, money isn't a problem for me. If you want it, I'll buy it." I said chuckling.

I suddenly saw Achlys walking in the market street. My face lit up as i was about to call out to her when I suddenly noticed a blue haired girl holding onto her arm.

I watched the girl in shock.

She's so pretty...

My gaze then slowly fell onto Achlys's soft gaze. My brows furrowed at the way Achlys was looking at her... A gaze filled of kindness and love...

I have never seen her look at someone like that ...

So that's the girl huh...

I don't understand ...

What makes her so special ...

She's just a pretty girl...

I clenched my fist in frustration.

I won't let her take you away from me.
