Cass POV
I watch as Cole reaches toward Luke. At that moment, Cole starts to assess him, and then he speaks, "You took in a large amount of air, your veins are showing, your lips are trembling, and I can see sweat draining from the side of your face" Cole pauses before he took another step towards him, turning his head sideways, a smirk forming on his lips "Are you scared, Luke?"
"O-of course Luke cleared his throat, then continued, "Let's get this over with already"
In less than thirty seconds the fight was over it was a truly horrible defeat in the first five seconds Cole had pinned down Luke to the point where he couldn't move and the rest of the seconds were him waiting for Luke to give up
Luke left as soon as Cole released him. As for Cole, he just shrugged and said he'll see us in a week to give us time to prepare for the mission we're going to have.
Which will last a year, I need to make up an excuse for my family, or else they'll be looking for me
I walked into the room and started to gather the one or two things I had here when Khalil walked in
"I know we're not in a good place right now." He started
"Oh really I couldn't tell from all the fucking pheromones coming off you" I said shoving my phone in my pocket
"Cass come on, don't be that way I know I was really wrong for that" he said pleading
"I have every right to act any kind of way I please, okay because when I get jealous I don't go fucking other people, I'll beat a dude up, but not cheat like what the fuck after all we've been through that conversation had to mean nothing!!!" I exclaimed
"Fine fine, let me just ask this before you leave, how far are you going to go with her to get what we need?" He asks lowly
"I'll obviously have to kiss her!" I rolled my eyes
"I know that! You know what I meant"
"I'll do what's needed because apparently, you're willing to go as far as you need to accomplish something and make yourself feel better" I said quietly
I watch his eyes glower at me
"I won't need to go that far, Khalil. I can handle it, and if I can't, I will find a way around to avoid that okay, happy."
He walks to me quietly without saying a word and leans forward and kisses my head
"I don't know how I feel about you kissing me after touching another man with your mouth" I said, not being able to control my mouth
"Yeah, I hope for all that confusion to be gone before this mission starts," he holds my hand. "Because I want to hold you while I still have the chance
I nodded "Okay but I just need to talk with my family today. I'll be back tomorrow."
Khalils pov
I walked Cass to the car and watched him drive off. As soon as I walked inside, I was greeted by a slap that made me fall back
I looked up at the culprit and glared
"What the hell was that for!?"
"That's for hurting Cass" he kicked me in my stomach "You better don't fuck with his head before this mission starts because Cole's wrath will be on us all and not just you" He walks away
I hate that fucking bitch, I swear John I will knock your teeth out with my own hands one of these days
It's been a week and Cass and I haven't really left each other's side since. I know he's actually kinda nervous about this though because it's a whole year mission I would be too if I never worked with these people before
But now we're all sitting in Cole's office with our suitcases ready
"Okay you guys already know the first part of the information for this mission, yes we are trying to take them down but there is a main reason, now I don't care if you deal drugs to whoever or sell whatever but I don't condone in trafficking children and we're going to stop it" Cole leans back in his chair glancing at every one of us "So if you wish to leave please do now" he says waiting a few seconds
"Noone? Okay good. You guys are going to Columbia. " Cole smirks at us
