Ellie Rodriguez was born on Terra or Earth and was abducted as a toddler when her family was on a camping trip in the woods. The creatures that abducted her experimented on her until a racoon and a talking tree, named Rocket and Groot, raided their ship, taking a nine year old Ellie with them.
The experiments that were done on Ellie left many scars, and she was given the ability to harness electricity while also being able to make force fields around herself, preparing her to become a weapon that her abductors could abuse.
Because of her childhood, Ellie doubted that Rocket and Groot actually wanted her around, little did she know how much she would actually mean to a group of grumpy adults.
