Sofia stood at the airport gate, nervously clutching her carry-on bag as she waited for Xavier to arrive. They were scheduled to take a commercial flight to their business conference, and Sofia was already feeling anxious about the long flight and the important meetings that awaited them.

Finally, Xavier arrived, striding confidently through the airport terminal. Sofia tried to hide her nerves as she greeted him, but she couldn't help feeling small and insignificant next to his imposing presence.

"Good morning, Sofia," Xavier said, his voice deep and commanding. "Ready for our flight?"

Sofia nodded, trying to sound confident. "Yes, sir. I'm looking forward to the conference."

Xavier smirked. "Well, we're not taking the commercial flight. We'll be taking my private jet instead."

Sofia's eyes widened in surprise.

"Your private jet?" Sofia asked. "You have a private jet."

Xavier nodded. "Yes. Don't act so surprised."

Sofia nodded, but inside, she was feeling more nervous than ever. She had never flown on a private jet before, and the thought of being in such close proximity to him for hours on end was a little intimidating.

As they made their way to the private jet, Sofia tried to calm her nerves. She reminded herself that she was there to do a job and that she had been chosen for this trip for a reason.

But as she settled into her plush leather seat on the jet, Sofia couldn't help feeling a little out of her depth. She knew she had to stay focused and professional, but there was a nagging voice in the back of her mind telling her she was in over her head.

Xavier, meanwhile, seemed perfectly at ease. He pulled out his laptop and began typing away as if they were on any other business trip.

As the jet took off into the sky, Sofia took a deep breath and tried to relax. She knew this was a unique opportunity, and she was determined to make the most of it.

She was just starting to feel more relaxed when Xavier closed his laptop and turned to her.

"There's probably something you should know," he said, his tone serious.

Sofia's heart skipped a beat.

"What?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Xavier leaned forward, his eyes fixed on hers. "I mean, we're not going to the conference. Instead, we're going to Brazil."

Sofia's mind raced. Brazil? Why Brazil? And why was Xavier suddenly changing their plans without any warning or explanation?

"I don't understand," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

He leaned back in his seat, his expression softening slightly. "We are going to Brazil. Consider it a birthday gift."

"I'm confused. What about the conference?" She asked.

"There is no conference."

Sofia squinted her eyes. "So you tricked me into coming to a  last-minute business trip only to find out it's a ploy so you can take me to Brazil!"

"And you're complaining because?" He asked sarcastically.

"You lied to me, Xavier!" She yelled.

"And now you get a vacation in Brazil for a week."

Sofia shook her head and slumped back into her seat.

"Do you know you're cute when you're mad." He teased as the flight attendant handed him a drink.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "What about your wife? And you baby?"

Xavier nearly choked on his drink, and his eyes widened in horror. "My what?!"

"Woah, calm down. Jenna said the two of you were trying for a baby."

Xavier: "Yeah, no, that's not happening. Wait, when did she tell you this?"

Sofia: "Doesn't matter."

Xavier: "Tell me Sofia."

Sofia: "The charity ball, okay."

Xavier: "So that's why you ended things."

Sofia "No, no, and no. There was nothing. Nothing happened between us."

"Oh?" He said. "So you don't remember how I slipped my hand on your thigh like this..." he told her as he got up and leaned down, smoothing his hand over her thigh and under the hem of her dress.

Sofia let out a soft gasp. "Xavier..."

"Hm? What is it, Sofia?" He smirked as he slipped his hand into her panties and rubbed gently.

She tried to compose herself and rolled her eyes. "Nothing."

"Don't roll your eyes at me, Sofia." He said, moving her hand away and wrapping his hand around her neck. "Roll your eyes at me again and in fuck you right here." He whispered.

Sofia nodded, looking up at him, hoping he would kiss her, but he smirked and released her. He went back to his seat and finished his drink.

As the private jet soared towards Brazil, Sofia felt a mix of anticipation and nervous excitement. She didn't know what the trip would bring, but she was ready for whatever came her way.

The engine hum of the private jet was soothing, and Sofia couldn't help but feel a little drowsy as she settled into her plush seat. She had always been a nervous flyer, but Xavier's steady presence beside her helped to calm her nerves.

As the plane took off, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was grateful for the opportunity to get away from the stress of her everyday life, even if it was only for a short time.

Before she knew it, she had drifted off to sleep. Xavier watched her for a moment, admiring the peaceful expression on her face.

He reached over and pulled a soft cashmere blanket from the overhead compartment. He carefully draped it over Sofia, tucking it in around her shoulders. She stirred slightly but didn't wake up.

Xavier settled back into his own seat, content to watch Sofia sleep. The plane soared through the sky, the only sound of the gentle hum of the engines.

As they flew towards their destination, Xavier couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment of peace and quiet. And he knew that he would do anything to protect this precious time with Sofia.

For now, he was content to simply be with her, watching over her as she slept. The world could wait.
