The Eurovision Song Contest happening in May meant one thing : Lili and Mariane couldn't attend the event. It was depressing for the two of them, especially knowing it was their finals week. 

God how much Lili wanted to be there for her boyfriend. Of course, she knew she wouldn't have been able to be in the green room with her friends but being in the Arena to support them would have already been a lot. Adding to that, she could have finally met Martin, the former bassist of the band, and the infamous Clem that Bojan never stopped talking about ever since Madrid. 

From what she heard from Kris, the boy was hooked but still very oblivious about it. Lili couldn't help but comment that it reminded her a lot about her and her boyfriend. 

Lili had seen many interviews of the guys and she couldn't help but smile every time they would mention her name when they were asked about the song title. 

"We had the entire song written and recorded but we were still struggling to find the name so we decided to call our very good friend Lili" started to explain Bojan to the first interviewer that asked him that question about the song title.

"We didn't want her to listen to the song just yet so we just sent her the lyrics that she had to translate to English. And because she is so smart and has knowledge in so many subjects, she started to ramble about Horace and his Odes. She talked about the saying 'Carpe Diem' and how it reminded her of what we sang, especially the last sentence. She explained to us a little bit about Carpe Diem in the Odes and the entire poem in which Carpe Diem is used and we just thought that it was the perfect title" he kept explaining. 

"I think it's also the perfect moment to once again say thank you to Lili for all this because she really saved us" added Kris. 

"If I'm correct Lili is also your photographer" asked the interviewer. 

"She is ! Well, not officially but yes. She is absolutely brilliant and since she is our friend it's much easier for us to act naturally in front of her camera" Bojan smiled, "We wanted her to join us for the entire Eurovision adventure but since she is still attending university it was impossible" 

"She did surprise us in Barcelona" Jan added.

"Lili if you're watching this, good luck with your exams" finished Nace as all the guys nodded at what he just said.

The second semi-final has been a roller coaster of emotions since the guys were the last ones to qualify for the Grand final. Lili and Nini were on the verge of their seats the entire time before screaming and jumping when they were finally announced by Hannah Waddingham. 

After they had qualified, Kris told her over the phone that they weren't expecting much from the final since they apparently did terribly in the jury show. Yet it didn't matter to the Belgian girl, they were in the final and that was already such a big achievement.
