As the sun began to rise, painting the sky with hues of orange and gold, the fleet sailed towards the designated battleground with a sense of purpose and anticipation.

The time for planning and preparation was over; now, it was time to face that Sea Serpent. The powerful engines propelled our ships forward, carrying with them a mix of determination and nervous energy.

On the side of my battleship's bridge, I stood, my gaze unwaveringly fixed on the horizon where the Sea Serpent awaited. The moment of truth had arrived, and I braced ourselves for the battle.

The fleet consisted of seven mighty ships, their bows slicing resolutely through the water. Among them was my battleship, under my command.

While Captain Charles took charge of the other battleship, his expertise and leadership shone through.

Within the fleet, Captain Pierre helmed one of the two cruisers, showcasing a masterful blend of strategic prowess and skillful execution.

Meanwhile, Captain Jeanne commanded the second destroyer, her focus on anti-submarine warfare revealing a steadfast dedication to the protection of our fleet from hidden threats beneath.

Completing our formidable naval force was Elise, whose capable command of the aircraft carrier made it the centerpiece of our aerial support, ensuring unrivaled air superiority.

As the fleet sailed towards the designated battleground, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The ships moved in unison, their powerful engines propelling them forward.

Standing at the side wing of the bridge, I exchanged glances with Captain Charles, who also stood on his battleship's side wing. Our eyes met, and a brief smile passed between us.

After that, my attention was drawn as I saw him reach for a communication device.

"Your first battle in this world, eh?" He broadcasted openly, ensuring that everyone could hear. "Before, we were just engaged in battles with other warships. Now, we find ourselves facing a mythical creature."

I chuckled softly before reaching for the device to respond, unable to resist a bit of humor.

"Well, Captain, I suppose my dreams after arriving in this world are more about noble quests and adventures. You know, traveling with a sword, embarking on journeys to defeat the demon world or something."

With a playful tone, I added, "But hey, who am I to turn down a chance to mix things up a bit? Adventure comes in all shapes and sizes, after all."

I could hear Captain Charles's laughter before he responded, his voice still carrying a hint of amusement.

"Isn't this better? With our firepower, we could even take down a dragon," he quipped in a light-hearted tone.

"But the Sea Serpent is also a dragon" I said with an exaggerated tone of mock surprise.

Captain Charles's chuckle rang out over the communication channel, his voice tinged with amusement. "Well, not exactly the fire-breathing, hoarding-treasure kind of dragon, if that's what you're wondering. But who knows, maybe it's been borrowing some dragon tactics for its underwater exploits."

I couldn't help but join in with Captain Charles' humor. "Ah, I see! So we're dealing with a dragon that's more into aquatic aerobics and hoarding shipwrecks instead of gold. Now that's a twist I didn't see coming."

Just as the laughter began to settle, another voice chimed in over the channel, this one more stern.

"Gentlemen, as entertaining as this banter is, let's not forget we're here for a reason."
