Days after the battle against the Sea Serpent, a vibrant celebration unfolded at the port where our warships stood, serving as a fitting backdrop for the festivities.

A grand table, stretching beneath the open sky, groaned under the weight of a lavish feast.

Gathered at this celebration were the captains who had led their ships into the battle against the Sea Serpent, alongside the Queen of Coyote Monarch. Also in attendance were various government officials, including the mayor of the port city.

And then there was me, Nathaniel, a representative of the Heptaclan Federation, and a participant who hailed from a different affiliation.

I had tried reaching out to the Federation's admiral and my friends, hoping to share the joy of our victory, but they were preoccupied with matters that remained a mystery to me. I couldn't help but wonder what might be keeping them so busy.

Captains and other celebrants mingled, their faces adorned with smiles, as they raised glasses filled with various libations. The clinking of glasses and cheerful conversations filled the air, creating an atmosphere of jubilation and camaraderie.

I don't know what's gotten into them, but is it okay to be drinking beer in the daytime?

Anyway, I'm really glad that this battle went off without any casualties, and it seems there's no damage to my ship, except for Captain Jeanne's. But I suppose it won't be a problem, considering the workers' capabilities.

Nathalie, on the other hand, sat in her chair, her expression still distant. I stood behind her, happy to watch her as she ate her meal, each bite slow and careful.

"Here, you can have some of this," I said, handing her a sweet treat suitable for a child.

Nathalie glanced at the offered treat, her expression unchanging.

Slowly, she accepted it, holding it delicately in her small hand. She didn't say anything, but her acceptance said a lot.

I patted her head gently and said, "Enjoy."

She took a small bite and continued to eat in silence. It was clear that she was still adjusting to her new surroundings and experiences.

As I kept an eye on Nathalie while sipping my coffee, Elise approached me with a question, "What are you going to do now?"

I took a moment to consider her question. The warm cup of coffee in my hands provided a comforting contrast to the cool sea breeze.

"Well," I began, "I've had my first taste of battle in this world, and it's been quite an adventure. I plan to continue exploring the uncharted lands that I've been tasked with. I considered venturing to the eastern conti  I mean the northern island, considering that we've essentially become one continent, but I think I'll forget about that idea and not go there anymore."

Elise nodded, her expression thoughtful. "I see. Exploration sounds great. It's a unique situation you're both in."

"So when are you going?" Elise inquired.

"I'm thinking I'll begin sailing later this afternoon," I replied.

"Alright," she said with a warm smile. "Well, see you later. Take care." Elise then continued mingling with the guests, leaving me to enjoy the festivities.

Elise winked playfully and added, "And don't decide to blow up an island."

As I watched Elise rejoin the celebration, I couldn't help but smile. I don't think I need to blow an island. I'm not that angry to just blow up an island, even a hill.
