Dear Lovelies,

It was a bright Sunday morning. Anvi had a big smile as she fried the last puri. She gave a quick stir to the kheer that was simmering on the stove before she walked towards the dining table with the puris.

"Anvi beta, one of these days you will get me fired for sure," Sita's father said with a chuckle. He ate the last morsel of chana puri while Anvi loaded his plate with two more.

It was a kind of ritual for Anvi to cook the Sunday morning breakfast at Sita's place. Sita lost her mother at a very young age. Her father worked very hard to provide for both his children. He was a manager at Anvi's father's company. Sita's elder brother Rudra practically raised Sita.

Once when Sita was in 10 standard, she had an urge to have chola bhatura, but Anvi had to drag Sita away from the roadside stall. "Behen, you will contract typhoid, diarrhoea, cholera and everything in between." Anvi had said while dragging her. She promised to cook chole bhature the following Sunday for Sita. From that very Sunday, she would cook breakfast for the family, every Sunday.

But this one was a special Sunday. Rudra was back home. He was on a 30-day leave. So Anvi made sure to make all his favourites, chole puri and kheer.

"Why, Uncle?" Anvi asked. She was confused.

"Anvi, you are my boss's daughter, and you cook for us every Sunday. Does he know about this?" He asked with concern in his voice.

"Uncle, he knows that I have a baby who needs to be protected from diarrhoea", she said while rubbing Sita's shoulders. Sita gave her a sarcastic look, which Anvi returned with a flying kiss.

"But beta, this cannot go on forever. One day, you both will get married and go to your respective homes." The sadness in his voice was quite evident.

"Uffo, Uncle, I am not going anywhere. We both will be at Delhi University. How far is Delhi from here? Just 2 hours." She plucked two fingers. "I promise we will be here every weekend. And I can get married to Rudra. That way, I will always stay with you all." She said matter-of-factly.

Rudra, sitting across from his father, choked on his tea. Sita banged her head on the table quite hard while her father stared at Anvi with an open mouth.

"Oh god, the kheer..." Anvi ran towards the kitchen while all the three Chaturvedis stared at each other.
