Four months, four whole months have passed since Anvi was hit. There were many things that had changed, yet there was nothing that had changed for Rudra. He followed the same routine mindlessly. He was numb to everything around him. Most of the time, he would wake up by Anvi's bedside in the hospital. He would talk to her about his day. He would urge her, plead with her, and threaten her to wake up. Ultimately, he would bury his face in her limp hands and cry. That was his morning. He would hardly come home unless his sister cried her eyes out. When at home, he would curl up on his bed and cry.

His daughter was safe now. She was growing up fast as well. He didn't name her yet. He didn't want to do it alone. He always wanted Anvi to name their princess. So even after strong insistence from his family, he did not name his daughter yet. Gola called her sister "peach" for the first time he saw the newborn up close. The little Chaturvedi now goes by the name "peach".

The sun was up and bright. Rudra was mindlessly driving towards his apartment. It was Raksha Bandhan, and Sita threatened him to come back home. He saw the flowers that were in full bloom across the park. His lips curved into a sad smile. Anvi loved to walk around the park with her pregnant belly.

"My little princess wants to eat Mamu's nose?" Rudra heard a male voice cooing on the other side of the door. He pressed the doorbell.

"Bhai..." Sita threw herself at Rudra as soon as she opened the door. He caught her with one hand while the other gripped the door frame for support. He looked over Sita's shoulder to see a half-naked Raghu lying on the couch. A four-month-old tiny Peach was lying on his bare chest. She was trying to catch hold of Raghu's nose while blabbering cute things.

"Don't you have a house of your own?" Rudra asked sarcastically. He was still holding Sita in his embrace. Raghu jerked his head towards Rudra.

"My home is where my kids are." He paused. "That is right here." He said in a flat tone before diverting his attention back to Peach. Raghu had been in this house since the unfortunate day Anvi met with the horrific accident. Rudra tried to kick him out of the house, but Raghu would not budge. With time, Rudra stopped giving him any attention. He realised that it was because of Raghu that he could spend his nights with Anvi in her hospital room without being bothered about Gola or Sita. Maybe it was selfish, but Rudra could not help it. He needed his Anvi.

"Bhai...ignore him," Sita said in an irritated voice. Raghu raised his brows at her, which she retired with an eye-roll. "You go get freshened up, and I have put a new kurta for you on your bed." She said while steering Rudra to his bedroom. Rudra was getting irritated by the second. He didn't want to celebrate anything. He wanted to be beside his Anvi. Why can't these people understand? He turned as soon as he reached his room and slammed the door shut on Sita's face. He knew it was wrong. All Sita wanted was for him to live again. It was for his good. Rudra knew it all, but he could not reason out with himself. This insoluble anger was eating him up day and night.

Rudra absentmindedly took a shower and got ready in his beige Kurta Pyjama. It was all mechanic. He was not aware of what he was doing. He heard a heated argument in the living room when he opened his bedroom door.

"...........you. You will never understand." came Sita's shrilled voice.

"Right, I will not understand. At least you have your brother who can bang the door on your face. My sister is in a coma. I don't even know whether she can hear me."
