Happy birthday

I wake up and hop in the shower right away because today's my birthday and I'm sure I'm going out to do something with my family or the triplets

After my shower I I blow dry my hair and give myself a blowout

I put on a cute dress because it's just coming to be warm out again and I just got it

I do some natural makeup and put on the ring and necklace Chris got me almost a year ago

I decide to text Chris because it's already 12pm

Me: hey what are we doing today?

Chris: I don't have any plans I'm just planning on sleeping and eating lol

Chris: how bout you

Me: Oh um I was wondering if you would wanna go out for lunch or something maybe

Chris: nah I'm pretty tired we were up late filming a car video

Me: Oh

Chris: you ok?

Me: yeah I'm fine.

Chris: sounds good

I close out of our texts confused. Did he forget my birthday..?

I go to text my mom to see if she wants to go out

Me: hey mom what's up

Momma: nothing much, how's my birthday girl?

Me: I'm good momma, what're we doing today

Momma: lunch? :)

Me: that sounds great, what time

Momma: I'll get home from the store in a few minutes so 1pm?

Me: sure see you soon

I smile knowing I get to hangout with my mom but still a little sad about Chris

(Moms been back for a month or two from business trip)

She gets back and after a bit we sit down at a restuarant

"So how's your birthday going" she asks

"Well being honest, not how I expected.." I look down at my hands

"What do you mean?"

"Chris doesn't know it's my birthday" I sigh

"I'm sure he remembers honey" she sounds sincere

"It's whatever" I smile and our food arrives

We eat our food and drive back home

3:29pm

I trudge my way up to my room and change out of my dress into a ransom hoodie and shorts

I lay in my bed and check my Instagram dms and some fans are wishing me happy birthday so I respond to some of those

An hour goes by and I almost fall asleep when j get a text from Chris

Chris: wyd

Me: nothing

Chris: busy?

Me: no

Chris: can you come over I'm bored

Me: ig

I turn off my phone and slide on my crocs

I walk over to Chris's house and walk inside and the lights are off

"Hello?" I call out using my arms to make my way inside

I don't hear anybody

I turn on my phone and text Chris

Me: nobody's home

Chris: what're u talking about

I look up from my phone in the dark and the lights flick on and Madi, Alahna, Chris, nick, Matt, and the rest of our friends jump out from random ass spots

I jump back when they pop out and they scream "happy birthday yn" in unison

I walk out the door and start walking back and Chris runs out

"Yn?" He stops me

"You liar" I shove him

"Are you mad?" He asks looking at me

I look at him and stay silent

"Why would you pretend to forget" I look at him

"We all wanted to surprise you" he responds

I sigh

"Come back inside" he grabs my hand and we walk back inside

Madi takes my hand and pulls me into the kitchen and stabs a Pepsi can with a key and chug it
