You and me - Chris Sturniolo

The Stanley Hotel

I wake up to my alarm blaring in my ear

I slap my phone in hopes for it to turn off

I sit up and rub my eyes to help get used to the light then climb out of bed

I make my way into my bathroom and start the shower

I go into my closet and pick out an outfit that suits the weather in Colorado

I pick out some black leggings and a tank top that goes to my butt and a black hoodie to go over it

I set those on my bed and take off my clothes an hop in the shower

I wash my hair and body then dry off and blow dry my hair

Finally after finishing my hair I get dressed and tie my hoodie around my waist

I brush my teeth and put on deodorant so I'm not shtinkay

I grab my suitcase and carry it downstairs since we're driving to Colorado in Matt's car

I slide on my crocs and bring my suitcase over to their car and put it in the trunk

I walk into their house to see if everybody's ready

"Hey you guys up?" I yell

Nick is in the kitchen

"Morning" we both say and I go into Matt's room to wake him up

I walk over to his bed

I shake his shoulder and he's sleeping shirtless

"Matty" I whisper nudging him

"Matt if you don't get your ass up I'm gonna pour water on you" I say

He groans and jumps

"Huh I'm up" he says

"Get dressed were leaving soon" I say and walk out and into Chris's room

"Wake up" I yell and hear Nick laugh from the kitchen

Chris whines and rolls over shoving his face into his pillow

"Oh ok I'll just go get water and pour it on you" I turn

"I'm up" he says and I turn back facing him

"Good get dressed" I say and leave

I lean against the counter and look at Nick

Soon after both boys come out of their rooms and give me an annoyed look

"Boohoo" I say and stick my tongue out at them

We get their bags in the car and we start driving so we can get to Colorado and meet Sam and Colby

Chris and I sit in the back because Nick wanted shotgun and me and Chris are staring out our windows

I have my airpods in and I'm listening to my spotify playlist

I turn my body so I'm laying back against the spot next to the window and my legs are extended on the seats

My feet reach over to Chris and he jumps when he feels my feet hit his side

He looks at me and twists himself the same way as me and lays his legs on mine

I lay my head to the side on the seat and fall asleep

...

I wake up and notice the car is stopped

I look towards the front and Nick is looking at me

I make a face at him

"We're at McDonald's you guys hungry?" He asks looking at me and Chris

"Mhm" I say sitting up

"Iced coffee" I say and then when we pull out of mcdonalds I start sipping at my drink

Later on we pulled into our hotel, checked in and all of us took naps so we were at least a little less tired when we met up with Sam And Colby at the Stanley

...

I wake up and nobody else is up

I get out of bed with Chris and go Into the bathroom to touch up my makeup and hair

I fix up my mascara and when I'm done with everything I put my stuff back in my bag

I sit at a chair in the corner of the room and decide to message Colby again

Hey Colby just wanted to see what's up

Who the fuck says that

Hey Yn, we're just getting stuff ready for tonight at Stanley what about you guys

Well I'm up but the triplets are asleep tired from driving

Makes sense, long drive from Boston to Colorado, we flew from home

Yeah i just slept most of the ride

I ended up talking to Colby for another hour and now it's eight pm

All the boys are up now so we all get our stuff ready and drive to the hotel

Colby told me they're in the lobby so we park and walk in all together

I look for a few seconds but when I saw him I knew it was them

"Right there" I point and we walk over to them

How do I explain how good Colby looks, he has a black tank top on and the dim light illuminates his muscles and tattoos

I try to keep myself from staring and Colby mustve seen me staring while the others were all talking to eachother cause when I saw his face he looked over down at me

He gives me a sly grin and I quickly look away feeling awkward and embarrassed

We all start filming with our cameras and start our investigation

A while into the investigation we start the Estes method

(Estes definition: To perform the Estate Method, one investigator wears a blindfold to limit visual stimulation or triggers, and also a pair of noise-cancelling headphones connected to a spirit box, which is a device that is used to scan through radio frequencies, and is believed to be a communication tool between the living and the dead. While the investigator is listening to the spirit box, other investigators call out to any potential spirits with questions.
The idea is that the spirits will use the spirit box white noise to communicate with less external factors influencing this interaction.)

I volunteered to go under for estes first so they blindfolded me and put the noise canceling headphones on me and I guess they started asking questions

(They also connected the spirit box to the headphones duh)

"Seen" I say everything I hear over the flickering channels

"You...will be?? Hurt?" I say pausing when the voice stops
