I roll over in my cold, empty bed and scroll through Instagram the same way I have been for two weeks

I sigh, and my lip quivers and a small tear fall out of my eye, landing on my pillow seconds after it leaves my eye

I can't believe it's only been two weeks since Chris ended it.

It feels like it's been forever without him

My life feels so bland without him, like I have no purpose.

I sit up, leaving my phone in the same spot on my bed.

I look around at my gross room and decide to clean up using the little motivation I have left

I run downstairs and get a garbage bag and pick up all the garbage from my floor.

I run a load of laundry with all the clothes from my room and do all my dirty dishes.

After vacuuming, folding blankets, and making my bed, my room looked decent enough for me to give up cleaning

I hear my front door open and shut, making me question in my head when footsteps come upstairs, and I quickly go back to my phone

"Knock knock," a familiar voice says

Matt.

I look away from my phone at him, and he has a dramatic smile plastered on his face

"Ew, get out," I say, making a gross face

"Ha ha," he says, coming in and getting in my clean bed

He sets a bag down, and I turn my phone off and turn over, facing him

"Food." I smile and look through the bag and grab french fries

"I figured you haven't had a decent meal recently,"

"No, I have." I lie

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, life's been great for me, honestly."

"Oh," he shrugs

We eat our food, and he eventually leaves

Matt pov

I walk into the house, and Chris is in the living room

"Where were you?" He asks

"Yn's"

"Oh..uh, how is she?"

"Great, she's doing good,"

"Really?"

"Mhm," I hum

"Oh." He sounds upset

I shrug and I go to my room

Yn pov

I go back to my phone for a few hours the same I've been since the breakup

I see that it's 9, so I get in the shower quickly and get comfy and back in bed

I try to get to sleep so I can film in the morning and eventually get to sleep

...

My eyes open, and I feel a warm body under me

I lift my head up, and Chris looks back at me with a soft expression

"Chris?" I mumble

"Shh, go back to sleep, yn."

2:34am

I shoot up in bed and look around my dark, empty room

It's dark out and raining, the street lights shine in my window

I check my phone and see the time and go to Chris's contact

I hesitate before texting him

Are you up?
Read

Uh.. yeah?

Can you come over

Seriously?

Yes

I'm on my way

I put my phone down and lay my head in my arms, waiting for Chris to get here

I must've dozed off for a few minutes because I woke up to Chris getting in bed

I lift my head up and move closer to Chris, laying my head on his shoulder and draping my arm over him

"Yn?"

"Can we just sleep?" I mumble with my eyes shut

"...sure"
