[1991, a HYDRA base in a snowy landscape. A man enters a bunker and removes a red book marked with a black star.]
Bucky and Natasha flinched seeing the Serbian HYDRA base.
[A technician raises a cylindrical chamber, revealing Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier.][Bucky Barnes is secured in a chair, a mechanical device either side of his head causing him to scream in pain.]
People watch in horror as Bucky covers his ears knowing what was coming.
Vasily Karpov: [speaking Russian] Желание. Ржавый. Семнадцать. Рассвет. Печь. Девять. Добросердечный. Возвращение на родину. Один. Грузовой вагон. ([subtitled] Longing. Rusted. Seventeen. Daybreak. Furnace. Nine. Benign. Homecoming. One. Freight car.) Доброе утро, Солдат. ([subtitled] Good morning, Soldier.)
"What are those?" asked Hermione, "code words" said Natasha.
[Bucky Hesitates]
Tony looked up he never thought Bucky'd hesitate against HYDRA.
Bucky Barnes: Я готов отвечать. ([subtitled] Ready to comply.)
Vasily Karpov: У меня есть для тебя миссия. Санкционируй и Извлекай. Без свидетелей.([subtitled] I have a mission for you. Sanction and extract. No witnesses.)
Bucky flinches, he risks a glance at Tony who smiles slightly.
[Night. A car is driving down a dirt road alone. The Winter Soldier is waiting at the side of the road with his motorcycle. As the car passes, the Winter Soldier follows. He comes alongside the car and disables it. It slams into a tree. The Winter Soldier brings the motorcycle back around and climbs off. He walks to the car trunk and rips it open, revealing a silver case containing several blue packets]
Tony flinches seeing that road and car, so does Bucky and Steve who knows, Natasha and Clint noticed and shared a look.
[Back at the HYDRA base]Vasily Karpov: Отлично, Солдат. ([subtitled] Well done, Soldier.)

[We're back at the Barton farmhouse, when we see Natasha talking to Lila, when her phone rings. She looks at the contact name 'Shell-Head' Natasha rolled her eyes.]
People snort at the name as Tony looks offended. Bucky laugh
Natasha Romanoff: What Shell-head? This better be good.
"Shell-head? I'm dying" snorted Ivanna.
Tony Stark: (V.O) We need you to come in.
Natasha Romanoff: No
Tony Stark: (V.O) Yes.
"No" said Natasha. "Yes" said Tony. "Stop arguing like children" snapped Alex.
Natasha Romanoff: (sighs) Make it quick.
Tony Stark: You're going to Lagos, with Rogers, Maximoff and Wilson.
Natasha Romanoff: (mutters in Russian)
Alex, Bucky, Laura, and Clint snort. "What did she say?" Tony asked. Neither person that spoke Russian said anything.
