Bob groans as the sunlight streams in through your window. His neck is sore from resting it back against the couch and his back feels stiff. He looks down and smiles softly finding you still sleeping in his lap. He stretches as much as he can while he waits for you to wake up, flipping through various movies as you had put him in charge of remote duty. So, he just watches television while he waits for you to wake up.

"Mmmm," He hears you hum and mumble something.

He can't help but enjoy your expressions as you work to register your surroundings. He grins when you finally look at him, watching the realization cross your features.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" You cry, making him grunt when you jerk up. "I can't believe I fell asleep!"

"Yeah ya did. I don't mind.....what's with that look?" Bob asks when you suddenly look shocked.

"I.....didn't have a nightmare," You breathe, Bob completely confused.

"A nightmare?" He asks, but little do you know he's aware of what you're saying.

Maybe it's just a fluke but part of you wonders if it's Bob's presence that made them go away? You want to try it out. You haven't slept so soundly in a very long time and Bob is being so understanding of it!

"The service has left me with PTSD. As a result I get some really violent nightmares," You admit to him with a sad smile, looking down At your fidgeting hands. "Sorry, we should have talked about some of this stuff before we decided to date."

"You afraid I'm gonna turn tail and run?" He asks with a laugh, frowning when he sees you not doing so. "Have others....?"

"I'm too much," You explain. "I come with a lot of baggage."

"I don't think you're too much," Bob says, gently cupping your cheek and guiding you to look up at him. "I think yer pretty worth it."

Your eyes widen at his words as they fill with tears, them spilling free when he kisses you long and hard. You wrap your arms around his neck and hug him even closer. When you both need air you pull away, Bob grinning.

"What?" You ask with a giggle as you wipe your eyes.

"Just thinkin' 'bout how lucky I am," He declares. "We got today off. Whatcha wanna do?"

"Usually I just laze about on days like these," You admit with pink cheeks. "I'm not the most exciting person anymore."

"Hmmm," Bob hums out. "The fair is in town. Wanna go?"

"Sure! That sounds like fun," You agree.

"D'Ya need anythin'?" He asks, motioning towards your leg.

"Nope! I've got plenty of stamina and I can get around pretty fast!" You tell him. "I promise I won't be any trouble."

Bob is taken aback by your words as he stares at you a moment.

"Yer not any trouble," He insists. "None at all."

You smile at him, Bob heading home to get changed while you shower and get ready. You perk up when Bob knocks on the door, opening with a wide grin. Your smile falters a bit when you find your whole squad at your door instead of Bob, a groan leaving you.

"That's not the reaction we expected," Johansson grins. "Ya hoping for a booty call?"

"And if I am?" You challenge back.

"Oooh!" Williams grins, a grunt leaving you when he and Adams grab you under the arms and drag you back into your apartment.

"Hey! Let go!" You cry as you struggle, huffing in annoyance when you're plopped down on the couch.
