23: A perfect Mismatch

"You don't need to explain anything to me Murtasim. I trust you the most", Meerab replied placing her finger on his lips. Murtasim looked at her finger immediately which touched his lips and he kissed her finger softly. Meerab realized her action and pulled her hand back. Murtasim smiled and sat beside her. These gifts are just a way to show his immense love for her. She is not just his wife and love but the person whom he can depend upon. Thier bond is growing stronger with the passing days and he loves the changes he sees in her. He doesn't hesitate to kiss her or pull her in his arms anymore because she never stops him. Even if they fight, she never stops him which makes him fall for her more. "And I love you the most", Murtasim replied and kissed her cheek. Meerab blushed and looked down feeling shy placing her hand on the place where he just kissed

She felt overwhelmed once again like she always did. Whenever he confesses his love, she feels so special. Just like a queen who won the crown and is ruling the kingdom now. She feels herself on top of the world whenever he confesses his love and what the hell she is doing? If she could feel so overwhelmed by emotions because of his confession even though she fell in love too late then what about him? His ears must be dying to hear her confession and she just because of her insecurities is taking this right from him. He fell for her a long ago and was dying to hear love confession from him.

How special it feels to hear these 3 magical words from Murtasim and she wait for his confession then what about him? Who loved her immensely and she can't even compare the amount of love as his love is much deeper. She looked at him who walked towards the drawer and came back towards her holding a file.

She kept looking at him the way his eyes moved from her to the files and the way his chest heaved with breath. His veins which are visible clearly and his mustache. He blushed when he noticed her staring at him and his sweet gestures of showing his love either by intertwining thier pinky fingers or either with a wink or sometimes he just acted as kissing her which was enough to make her blush.

And what she is doing? It's not like she doesn't love him it's just about her fear. She doesn't want to harm him and let him go through pain. He can't even imagine the amount of love she stored for him.

"Ya Allah. Give his problems and pain to me. Don't harm him ", she prayed and heard the voice of the song. She looked at Murtasim who played the song and passed a smile towards her still concentrating on what he was doing before. Will he ever understand she also loves him a lot? She knows the feeling of hearing love confession is underrated and wants Murtasim to feel the same but this stupid heart fears his death. She hates talking about it but her fear never let her go close to him

"Lae dooba", a song played and she looked down feeling sad all of a sudden. Although this song was romantic and she could relate to every word of the lyrics still she felt something missing. She doesn't know the reason, she just wants to cry and let her emotions out with tears. She cried silently and didn't even wipe her tears as she knew her action would take Murtasim's attention. She felt herself undeserving for him and when she tried to stop herself she muffled and her voice took his attention and walked towards her leaving his laptop. Meerab immediately wiped her tears but it was too late as he already saw her crying
