무빙 7. Where The Sea Sleep

Bong Yi did her best to avoid Ganghoon the next day at school. She kept her head down in class, avoided the places where she knew he would be, and even ate her lunch at a different place than usual.

But despite her best efforts, she ran into him in the hallway. She froze when she saw him, her heart pounding in her chest.

Ganghoon looked at her, his eyes filled with concern. "Bong Yi-ya" he started, his voice hesitant. "Can we talk?"

Bong Yi looked at him, her eyes cold. "Yaegi da kkeutnal geot gateunde, Lee Gang Hoon. (I think we've said enough, Lee Gang Hoon,)" she replied, her voice steady despite the turmoil she was feeling inside.

"Jeongmal mianhae, Bong Yi-ya, I..." Ganghoon started, but Bong Yi cut him off.

"No. I need some space," she said before turning and walking away, leaving Ganghoon standing alone in the hallway.

The atmosphere is calm and focused in a classroom in the middle of a heavy downpour on a rainy night. Students are sitting in their seats, deep in their books.

The dimly lit room creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. The sound of rain against the window adds a touch of sadness.

Bong Yi seems to try to concentrate as she reads. With only the soft sound of pens gliding over paper, the classroom was quiet.

Ganghoon's mind is filled with the memory of his encounter with Bong Yi yesterday as he entered the class.

He could still feel her lips brushing against his, still hearing how she spoke to him. She told him to keep his feelings for her hidden and called him a coward.

Passing Bong Yi's desk, he couldn't help but glance at her. But she had no eye contact, no hint of the fact that he was there. More than he wanted to admit, it hurt.

Still thinking about her, he took his seat. He couldn't help but re-live their conversation and couldn't help but regret it. He didn't mean to hurt her, didn't mean to push her away.

And the rest of the time, his mind was on her. About her words, about the way she kissed him.

He couldn't focus on his book at all. Frustrated, he slammed his pen down on the desk, shocking the silent class.

He got up and walked over to Bong Yi without a word. Gently but firmly, he tugged on her hand and signaled for her to follow him out. Bong Yi struggled, trying to pull her hand back, but Ganghoon didn't let go.

The class watched in surprise, but no one dared to ask. Ganghoon led Bong Yi outside, holding her tight. He knows that they need to talk, that they need to clear things up.
