Peter said we would get the news in about a week or so but I opened my phone to a new email from Stark Internship.

I started panicking.

What if they were letting me know they rejected me early?

Or what if I got into the program early?

I was freaking out.

I left the email untouched and went to school with the same pain as the day before. Ed hadn't been home since two days ago and I hoped he'd keep it up.

I dont care where he is as long as he's not here.

I ran into Peter at school and his eyes lit up when he saw me.

"Did you get the email too?" I asked, panicking.

He nodded. I dragged him into an empty classroom and pulled out the email.

"Ready?" He asked. I nodded and we both began reading the emails out loud.

"Dear, Ms. Y/l/n"

"Dear, Mr. Parker" we read at the same time

"We are delighted to inform you that you have been one if the few students selected for the Stark Internship"

Me and Peter looked at eachother in utter shock.

I yelled first and jumped into his arms, completely ignoring the pain shooting up my shoulder.

He spinned me around, my feet lifted off the ground.

We laughed joyfully. I couldn't believe it.

"I cant believe this" Peter said, panting.

"Wait finish the rest of the email" I said. I was too hyper to talk any more let alone read.

"You will have an escort to Stark Tower every Tuesday Wednesday and friday as those will be your intern days. Your escort will be someone named Happy Hogan. Once again congratulations on this amazing opportunity!" He finished.

My jaw was on the ground.

"So today's Monday would that mean we start the internship tomorrow?" I asked

"I think so." He said simply

Oh my god. I could still not believe it.

"Do you wanna go get breakfast at the cafeteria with me and mj?" Peter asked sweetly.

Any thought of food made me feel nauseous and anxious.

I declined politely and opened my phone to my favorite gc.
