The Editor in Chief of “The Luzonian” has been very busy with the presswork for their literary portfolio.

“What am I gonna do with this trash?! Can you even write a  freakin' coherent sentence?!” saka itinapon ang article na ipinasa ng pobreng estudyante.

Karla, being used with the scene, just gave a shrug. She continued editing articles which barely survived sa kanyang unang basa.

Sheez” as she scans from one article to another. Then a young and lanky man showed up. Halatang kabado.

                “Yeah sure. What’s that about?

                “Love po.”

“Oh-my-frickin-God. That would be the nth time na iyan ang maririnig kong topic! Pwede ba? Ano? Babasahin ko pa ba to?! Can I just dispose this piece of literary crap?”

“Wait po Ate. Kahit isang minutong pagbabasa lang po. Please”  Jayson pleaded.

So she started scanning the article. Her blabbering stopped. She’s sure there is something really moving and poignant with what she is reading. It was far from technically constructed but she got the whole point of the article.

“How did you get the inspiration in writing this thing?” tanong ni Karla kay Jayson. It is frickin’ good. She almost blurted.

                “Ate, basta po”

                “Tell me. Please”

Natigilan si Jayson sa sinabi ng dalaga. A woman like Karla Suarez does not ordinarily beg. Not at this moment.
