Ruy was feeling very very confused and hurt and pretty much everything. He thought his day couldn't get any worse after glimmer shouted the hell out on him. Well, he was wrong. Right after that , resa was gravely hurt. They couldn't take her to a normal elvin doctor, they would be caught and then feel like dying was a better option. So, obviously glimmer was supposed to treat her. Thing is , he wasn't sure if glimmer would actually try and heal her after that sort of shouting match. Suddenly they brought resa to the operation table. She was bearly alive . Glimmer shooed everyone away. Ruy was very worried. His force fields were literally forming at random. After two hours glimmer announced "she has just barely lived. She will be open to visitors in an hour." Ruy was so happy with this news,that he hugged her. Only a few seconds later he realized how weird it was. Blushing he quickly pulled back. Suddenly fintan appeared and saved him. Fintan spoke "I am very happy for resa's survival. However ruy has to come with me for a mission." He gladly followed. Fintan leaped them to a Grove. He asked, "you know our plan right?" Ruy replied, "yes , we must conquer or ally with each individual individual species before taking control of the elves." It had been literally drilled into their heads atleast a hundred times. Fintan replied, "exactly. We can use drakostomes to make the gnomes submit to us."
"Whoa. Back the mastodon up. What are drakostomes? "
"Parasites that make gnomes sick"
" Ahh... like roundworms" ruy knew this from glimmer. Ruy cringed at his thought of her. Glimmer probably wasn't ever going to talk to him again . Fintan asked him, "are you listening ?" Just then , ruy realized he had ignored fintan . So he politely asked "could you repeat ?" Fintan
sighed. He repeated" we need to test these drakostomes before using them on a large scale, though we have infected some gnomes .So I am going to infect one tree with drakostomes and you shield one of the healthy ones. Through this we will find out how fast the drakostomes spread and compare them with the one in the forcefield." Ruy understood half of what fintan said. So, he enclosed one tree in one of his forcefields. It was easy stuff. He came there everyday to check. One day he was just sitting nearby when he heard voices
"something seems off in this Grove. "
"Yeah ,it seems very quiet"
Suddenly, two girls came into view. One of them was the moonlark. He knew she could inflict. He cursed. However, he had read some human book. One thing he had learned from it was 'when weak , act strong.' So ,he put on a confident smile along with his addler and went to confront them
This chapter was more of a filler.
