chapter 17

Rayni was having a challenging fight. Serra, though back from an injury was very skilled. She didn't get why she lost so easily to trix. She had her and umber trapped. However Rayni remembered that she had experimented by turning a light beam into an extremely thin and powerful laser light. So she tested it, and behold! It worked! But when she freed esra she wasn't very happy. The shade stormed off to her dormitory. She decided to make a mental note to go talk to her. Shades were very powerful. However Esra was just a human with dormant abilities that were triggered. Only psionopaths were equally powerful. Just like Ruy. Immediately she regretted thinking about him. That good for nothing little scumbag. Anyways she gave her full attention back to the fight. She saw that serra was handcuffed with what seemed like... light? Serra was just as surprised . She decided yo lighten the mood by telling, "as you lost, you will have to do sit-ups." To her surprise, serra actually started doing sit-ups.  She said ," remove the handcuffs. They are controlling me." Now Rayni was starting to panic. But then she calmed herself and decided to focus on herself as a manifestation of light. She did so and felt a connction to the bonds. It was like the connection between the blood and the heart. She could feel it's presence, a desire, no a dream. She requested it as it was of equal or higher power, to release serra. It seemed to say yes, and started fading away but not before leaving a feeling of fulfillment in Rayni. Serra finally relaxed and pretty much fell down onto the floor. It was probably cause Serra had already taken enough and more physical stress for a lifetime. So hurriedly taking use of her sudden burst of power and energy, she carried serra with her and gave her basic medicine and let her rest. Then she knew exactly where she needed to go. She needed to go to library. She needed to know more about those cuffs. So she ran to the library . She saw a book labeled flickers of light. She opened  the foreword and had a look

In this book, light, the building block of the world, the creator has been discussed in depth. Its power, many theories of its origin, and its reaction and relation with other elements and certain elvin abilities have been covered.

In a slightly small text underneath it was written
Light and its forms are very important and eome are very dangerous. That is a reason why I have not mentioned them here , if you are interested, please read my book forms of power . However it is a book with limited access.

After this rayni was sure that they would have the limited origin book. After all, the neverseen did have one of the biggest libraries. So, she ran to the librarian to go and ask for the neccesary book, and rayni being rayni, collided her head with a book shelf on the way and fell down into someone's arms.

Hello! Did you think I would tell you guys the full mystery about the ethernine bonds. But don't worry, I will give the explanation soon . Also once again I have added a subtle hint that connects to another kotlc neverseen mystery. Tell me if you find it.

By the way guys my school will be starting soon and so updates will be weekly or monthly. But I will definitely update.
