On the weekend, Akanksha was having lunch when she recieved a call from her company.

"You are receiving a golden opportunity to work in the sets of "Roudhra Veda" directed by Neelam Shankar. I'll get into the details on Monday so meet me at my office." The manager had said.

Akanksha didn't need to tell it to Niranjan and Shivani as they were sitting beside her. Niranjan rejoiced in happiness. Shivani gave a dull smile and turned away.

"Seems like you are getting a lot of opportunities dear. Congratulations!" Niranjan said.

Akanksha smiled looking at her happy brother.

"On this note, how about we go out for dinner tonight? I'll buy." Akanksha offered to Niranjan and Shivani.

"Of course! Why not? We should celebrate. Right Shivani?" Niranjan asked looking at Shivani.

"I have some work. I cannot come today." Shivani said gloomily.

Shivani's comment turned the enthusiastic mood a little dull.

"Oh okay then. Me and Akanksha will go out today. I'll bring back dinner from the restaurant for you." Replied Niranjan cheerfully. He was hoping to lighten the mood. He didn't want to pressurize Shivani.

Soon, it was evening. Akanksha and Niranjan left for the restaurant.

At restaurant:
"I'm sorry dear." Niranjan said with apologetic eyes.

"Why are you apologizing?" Akanksha asked puzzled.

"I'm sorry about Shivani's behavior. I didn't know she could behave like this to you." He said with his head down.

"You don't need to apologise anna. She might be harsh from the outside, but I believe that she's a good person on the inside. Moreover, she loves you. What else do I need?" Akanksha answered with a smile.

Rest assured, Niranjan and Akanksha ate peacefully.

"I'll go wash my hands and come." Akanksha said as she got up from her chair and Niranjan nodded.

When Akanksha came out of the washroom after washing her hands, she met eyes with someone she never expected. Dhruv Kapoor.

Dhruv looked at her too. Both of them gazed at each other blankly for a few seconds. Aayush, who was right behind Dhruv, stared at Akanksha like he couldn't believe his eyes. Akanksha blinked hard. She wasn't sure if she was being delusional.

Dhruv snapped out of it first after a nudge from Aayush.

"Hey!" Dhruv said with excitement.

"Hello sir!" Akanksha replied, clearly surprised.

"What a coincidence!" He said.

"It is indeed. How come you're here?" Akanksha asked him.

"I came here for a shoot." Dhruv replied. She probably didn't know yet.

"Oh okay, that's great!" Akanksha replied.

"Akshu?" A voice called behind Dhruv.

He turned around and found a young man. He was around the same height has Dhruv. He had short straight black hair like a military cut. He had a moustache but no beard. He had a well built physique, though he wasn't very muscular. He was simply fit. Overall, the guy was handsome.

The man called her out with such love that Dhruv suspected that there was something going on between them for a minute.

"Anna" Akanksha replied.

Dhruv was relieved. So he was her brother.

"Hello sir!" Dhruv said respectfully.

Niranjan turned towards Dhruv. The loving expression Niranjan had on his face after looking at his sister changed when he saw Dhruv.

"Wait, Dhruv Kapoor?" He asked in shock.

"Yeah, I am sir." Dhruv replied politely with an akward smile.

"Oh Gods! It's so nice to meet you! I'm a huge fan. I'm Niranjan." Niranjan exclaimed as he introduced himself.

Dhruv smiled politely and shook hands with Niranjan.

"I think you know my sister, Akanksha." Niranjan said to Dhruv right after the handshake.

Akanksha was standing and staring at the conversation awestruck. Aayush had the same expression of his face.

Dhruv turned to look at Akanksha. "Yeah, I do." He replied looking at her.

Dhruv continued to stare at Akanksha. "Stop looking at her! He's looking at you. You have a death wish?" Aayush murmured very softly next to Dhruv's ear.

Dhruv immediately turned towards Niranjan.

"Akanksha has told a lot about you in the past year." Niranjan said to Dhruv.

"Oh really?" Dhruv asked smiling.

"She spoke about me to her brother?" Dhruv thought.

He took a glimpse of Akanksha's face. He could see her eyes on her brother that was pleading like "Don't." Dhruv could tell she was embarrassed despite her straight face. With a smile, he turned back to Niranjan.

"So how has your stay been?" Niranjan asked Dhruv.

Dhruv and Aayush glanced at each other. The guilt dawned on their faces. Niranjan felt something was off looking at them.

"Well, it's been a little... different. That's how PGs are anyways." Dhruv replied managing a smile on his face.

"You're staying at a PG?" Niranjan asked Dhruv clearly stunned.

"Yeah, I can't sleep at hotel rooms. I find it uncomfortable." Dhruv replied with awkwardly.

"There were bedbugs. Moreover..." Aayush explained the situation to Niranjan.

"Oh yeah. PG's in Coimbatore are not that great. I understood that when I hunted down a few for my friends." Niranjan said.

Dhruv personally didn't appreciate Aayush telling the issue. He was afraid that it could be trouble. But however, Aayush knew what he was doing.

"How about you guys stay at my house?" Niranjan offered.

Akanksha, Aayush, Dhruv, all three of them stared at Niranjan flabbergasted.
