For some reason, it doesn't show the chapter, so I'm publishing it for the second time, and hopefully, it shows it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Merida sat on the couch next to Ian as she tried to fix her red curly hair. "I can't believe 100 years had passed already," said Merida as she yawned. "Not a lot has changed in 100 years, surprisingly. The only difference is that the people of Silver Village are the descendents of the last faces that we saw before we went to sleep," said Ian. "Wait! You woke up first?! That's unfair!," Merida exclaimed. "Calm down. Father wants to talk to us about something important," Ian explained. Merida look at their father, confused. "What is it?," Merida asked. "When I woke up today, there was a black envelope on the front door. It was a warning from the Queen. There's seems to be a new threat. Since we don't live in the vampire lair, we have a higher chance to be attacked," said Dracula, seriously. "What are they? Werewolves?," Merida asked, concerned. "We don't know. Right now, our only guess is some type a fire mage or a new monster," said Dracula as he looked at the fireplace. "What are you planning to do?," Ian asked. "For now we will stay in the mansion and continue our days normal but if we noticed that things are getting worse we will have to move back to the shadows away from the outside world," said Dracula as he looks at Ian. Ian stud up. "You can't be serious. There's no way I'll be stuck underground for centuries, I can't leave Vi... this place," said Ian. Merida raised an eyebrow. "You can calm down. That's only for an emergency," said Dracula as he sighed."Ok, as long that's only an option," Ian started to walk away. "I have a place to go now if you excuse me," said Ian as he then left.

"Merida, please be careful when you go outside. I know you and Ian are different than the rest of us, but you can't let your guard down," said Dracula. "Yes, father," said Merida as she then left the room as well. "They have grown up so fast and strong. If only you were still here to see them," said Dracula as he looked at the painting of his wife that is on the wall.

Merida was walking around Silver Village when she noticed her brother sneaking around. So she followed him. "What is he up to?," Merida thought outloud. She saw him do a signal to someone that she couldn't see due to the crowd. Merida jumps on a roof to get a better view. But she saw her brother get behind in one of the houses. Merida jumped from roof to roof until she was on top of the same house. She saw him with a girl. 'So he has a lady? No wonder he doesn't want to leave,' Merida thought with a smirk.

"I didn't expect to see you today, I'm with my friends today, so I can't talk for too long," said Viktoria, smiling as she felt nervous but excited to see Ian. "I see..." Ian made a pause as he noticed his sister's presence."Don't worry. I'm glad I get to see you even if it is just for a bit. I some things to take care as well. Maybe I can visit you later today, " said Ian happily. "I would really love that," said Viktoria excitedly as she moved her hands a bit, which Ian thought it was cute. "I can't wait," said Ian. They heard Adriana's voice yelling Viktoria's name. "Oh no, I have to go. I can't wait to see you later," said Viktoria as she slowly walked away, not really wanting to leave. "Me too. See you soon," said Ian as wave good bye. "Bye!," said Viktoria as she waved as well and left.

"Don't you dare say a thing," said Ian to Merida, who was now behind him. Merida chuckle, "You sure have a weird taste with girls. How nice of you of healing her wounds with your powers. Is she clumsy?," Merida asked as she teased him. "Just a little, she's been getting hurt with her training. She gets bruises easily too," said Ian as he walked away with Merida following him. "What kind of training?," Merida asked curiously. "To be a hunter. She's from the Van Helsing family," said Ian, seriously. Merida frozed. "Are you insane?! A Van Helsing? Isn't it risky to be romantically involved with her? Don't tell me you put the blood seal on her ," Merida questioned. Ian stopped walking and turned around. "No. We are not anything official...yet. And I'm not using her as a weapon, so no, she doesn't have the blood seal. I'm with her because I genuinely like her, and I want to be with her, and I feel happy with her," said Ian, honestly. "She's really special to you," said Merida, smiling. "Yes, she is," said Ian as he smiled back.
