chapter XIII

Adriana p.o.v

I just woke up and had to get dressed fast because I overslept, and I had to double-check my packing and get dressed for the day. Me and my family are staying at Elbert's house until our wedding day arrives. I was surprised that they decided to move the wedding date sooner. At least I will finally be able to be with the love of my life. I waited so long, hoping that he would choose me. It makes me so happy just thinking about him and us being together. Is a dream come true.

"Come on, Adriana! We're going to be late!" My mom yelled. "I'm done, give me a second!" I yelled back as I ran outside with my suitcase. My legs feel so tired from walking so much yesterday around the village with my friends. The village has been changing a lot lately, from what I heard it's starting to look more like a town. I have never been to a town, but i hope that's a good thing. Due to all the changes, we had to take different directions to get home since everything is getting blocked.

We ride our horses to the Jeager household. We were greeted by Elbert's father. "Good morning, Mr. Jeager," said my mom as she got down from the horse with my father's help. "Good morning, Mr and Mrs Hydrangea, and of course, Adriana," said Mr. Jeager with the biggest smile. "Thank you for inviting us over," said my father as he shook hands with Mr. Jeager. "No problem at all, let my men take care of your luggage while I show your rooms," said Mr. Jeager, which my parents immediately agree with.

Once I entered their house, I immediately was looking around, hoping to see Elbert. Mr. Jeager noticed and chuckle" Don't worry little miss, you will see him soon his out hunting with his friends at the moment, for now how about we eat some breakfast," said Mr.Jeager smiling. "That would be great, we haven't eaten yet," said my father. I just nob, I was a bit sad not to see Elbert yet, but at least I will see him later.

Viktoria's p.o.v

I was in the snowy woods when I noticed a small puppy running away, and there was a pack of black wolves running after it. I ended up running after them without thinking I was able to catch up with the puppy. I used my body as a shield to protect the puppy and I felt the wolves biting me and trying to pull me away to get the puppy. I was trying to at least be able to keep my body in a position so the puppy can hide because I was gonna die and i wanted to at leave my corpse could be used as a shield. And then I woke up...

I opened my eyes after the strange dream. For some reason it didn't feel like it had anything to do with me. I was more surprised that I even try to save the dog. I heard the door of my room open. "Come on, is time start your training," said Nicole and through some clothes to my bed and left. "Ok..." I said which I was surprised to see her get me. Probably my brothers made her. I got ready for the day. And immediately went to the arena. I wish I had time to eat first.

Gabriel attack me with a sword and I block it with my own sword. "By the way where were you guys? You were gone for 3 days," I said and pushed him back. "Just usual quests, nothing special," said Gabriel as he attacked again. He didn't seem to want to talk about it so is fine. I don't want to bother him. "Ok...oh yeah I almost forgot!," I said as I attack to the side which he immediately dodged. "What?," said Gabriel. "I had a strange dream, I end up dying by a pack of wolves because I didn't want them to kill a puppy," I said. Gabriel hit my leg with the flat side of the sword making me fall. "Be careful with dreams, the spiritual world can interfere with them. Mom had a lot of dreams too, most of them end up coming true. No one can know, they will confused you with a witch. Most people don't know God can give you the gift to see the future. Of course, I'm not saying  you have it, but just a warning. Don't let demons confused you like your sister," said Gabriel seriously. All my life I been told not to be like Nicole but they never said what they mean by that, until a few years later, I see the demon that hates me in her eyes. Though is hard to tell who really hates me
