New poem

So lately i've been so down,
And i'm sick of feeling like a clown,
With everything there are new tests,
That makes me push hard to be the best,
I'm sick of trying to please everyone,
I'm having no fun and i'm scared of everyone

Daytime is easy just smile and play along,
It's not that hard but it does drag on,
By night when the sun goes down,
And your left alone,
Thoughts come on and makes you wanna drown

But you push hard and ignore the beasts
that force you down on your knees,
At first it's easy and you think you've won,
But then it gets hard and everything becomes undone

I fake a smile so you don't see the pain i'm struggling with,
It's getting stronger and stronger,
And it's starting to win,
It's pulling me down,
And I can't swim

Maybe if I give in,
I will float to the top,
And finally be at peace,
For the world is to tough.
