Sophia's POV

"Tell me what Sophia." Cameron said

"Do you remember the night a few months ago?"I said emphasizing on the

"Yeah,why?"He said somewhat distant

"I have to tell you something."I said holding the stick behind my back

"What Sophia?"He said raising his voice

"There's no easy way to say this Cam." I said looking down "I'm pregnant."

"You're fucking lying. You can't be." He said in disbelief

"Well I am."I said placing the test in his hands "I have an appointment next Saturday if you even care."

"I-I just need so time to think. J-just don't call or text or anything right now." With that he pushed the test into his back pocket, ran out the gazebo, and went back running to his house

I was frozen and felt like I couldn't move. I didn't know how to react or what to do.

The next day at school was no different. I disconnected myself from everyone else at school. Cameron acted like nothing happened. He walked past me everyday like I wouldn't be carrying his child for nine months. He still partied every weekend, while I looked for jobs who would hire a pregnant 17 year old. Saturday came by in the blink of an eye. Today was the day Peyton and I would go out for a girl's day out. Just lunch and a little shopping, but anything to get away from the awkwardness at home.

"Hi Sophia!"She said as I entered her car

"Hi Peyton."I said putting my seatbelt as we pulled out of the driveway of my house "It's been such a bad week."

"Is pizza fine? and how?"She asked

"Pizza sounds really good right now. It's Cameron."I said putting my purse down by my feet

"Oh gosh what has he done?"Peyton asked keeping her eyes on the road

"He just doesn't care Peyton. I told him and he told me he needed sometime to think. He obviously doesn't if he can still party every weekend and not give a damn at school."I said aggravated

"How do you know he's been partying?"She asked

"Instagram and besides it's Cameron Taylor we're talking about."I said giving a small smile "I've been looking for jobs all week. I got a part time thing at a local boutique nothing fancy. Just filling in for a girl who had her baby until April."

"Still getting paid though right?" Peyton asked glancing over at me

"Of course. $10 an hour is hella good."I said "I just feel like Cameron doesn't care."

"Even if he isn't making an effort you need to. You're gonna have this responsibility that's all yours for the next 18 years plus."Peyton said giving me a small smile

"What about your baby's dad?"I asked curiously

"His name is Liam, he goes to UCLA, he's a sophomore. He wants to be Lawyer, tall blonde, and gorgeous. Almost like he just walked out of a Hollister magazine." She said happily

"How did he take the news?"I asked

"Okay, not perfect but not horrid. We met at a party while I was spending a few days in LA. Just gonna be really hard considering he'll be in LA and I'll be in Stanford. Pretty long drive."She said pulling into parking spot

We walked inside and sat at a booth. We both ordered a 4 cheese pizza to share, which sounded great since meat made me feel gross.

"So is it a boy or a girl?"I asked taking a sip of my water

"A girl."She said smiling

"Oh my gosh! Yay."I said with a big smile "Have you thought about names?"

"No, I just need to think how I'm gonna finance this. A kid is fucking expensive. The day care I would want her to go is $2,190 monthly, I'm gonna have to live off campus next year cause I have a kid, diapers, food, bills, It's all so much."Peyton said as I could see the worry in her face

"Do you have a job?"I asked

"I'm a receptionist at a dentist office, it's not much. It's something though."She said

"Still is something though."I said as the server put the pizza down

We both got 2 slices each and sat them on plates.

"So still going to Stanford?"Peyton asked

"Don't really plan on anything else. Not settling for something less than my best, baby or not."I said grinning

"Cameron have plans for college?" Peyton asked bitting into her pizza

"I don't know he's just convinced he'll make it into the pros without a college education. Cameron has never really been logical, I guess."I said

"Well at least you have yours."She said trying to make thing better

"Yeah, I guess."I said with a slight forced smiled
