Jiraiya POV
DAMN IT! Orochimaru and Kabuto escaped. I swear that I'm gonna kill- I was pulled from my thoughts by the sight in front of me.
Tsunade and Shizune were on either side of the violently sobbing and shaking boy.
"Shhh it's okay" they were softly telling Naruto comforting words as they held his hands with one hand and softly rubbed circles on his back with the other.
"I need you to breathe for me Naruto, yeah, that's it, just breathe" the blond was still hyperventilating, but Tsunade didn't want to push him too hard.
I joined in and sat down by his legs and gently caressed his thigh in a comforting motion.
"It's okay, Naruto, you're doing great" I said with a soft smile.
This continued for about an hour until he fell asleep with his head on my lap and body strung across Tsunade.
Several hours later, we had cleaned everyone's wounds and prepared to go back to Konoha. Tsunade gently scooped Naruto up and he clung onto the cloth of her shirt like his life depended on it.
