Hi! Before you start this book, please make sure you're starting at the correct preface! The one that follows this chapter is the older version, and there is a slightly tweaked one labeled in all-caps (PREFACE).
The story you see before that real preface is a part of the first draft I was posting of The Classix. While the new version is moderately different, I think it's important to show progress, so I decided I'd keep the old version for you to look at and compare to the newer one. If you remember, I've been writing and planning The Famoux for around ten years now, and I've been prone to changing up drafts frequently in my writing process. As you can tell, I did that right here!
