Note: Hello! Let's get right to it!!

PREVIOUSLY ON THE CLASSIX: So Carstan *might* know who Emeray used to be?? We're not too sure?? All we know is that he himself is gonna go into the Fissarex soon. But before we get back to that story, let's catch up with your favorite people . . .

DEFED

    Things are looking up.

I pause, pen over the page, beaming down at those words. Every week or so I'm supposed to write a report on the group's progress––what plans we've made, what things we've done, and things of such nature. The reports go to no higher power (since, well, I'm the highest power), but my predecessor was devout in keeping a progress log, so I was compelled to carry the torch. And after weeks and weeks and weeks of starting my notes with endless bouts of negativity . . . well, a statement like this could not be more welcome.

That's right, I write, things are looking up for us. Famoux security is getting tighter by the day, which means more cameras set up around the Metropolix. Little do they know, more cameras doesn't mean assuring no intruders––it means inviting us right into the places where they're the most vulnerable.

Thus: Finley, our expert hacker, is already on the trail to gain access. We're expecting to get in sometime next week.

    "Doing a report?"
Rinna leaning against the doorframe, smiling at me.

    "Trying to," I say.

"Lucky for us, there's something to report about."

    I return her smile twofold.

"I think we have a good chance now," she tells me. "Honest. We're in a really good place to start our new approach."

"Agreed." I lean back in my chair, taking in a deep breath. "It's going to be a big jump, for sure, but I just . . ."

It fades off. I can't bring myself to say it out loud like Rinna can––that with all the new control we've gotten over the situation, things actually look like they could work out in our favor. I'm just too afraid it'll make everything fall through.

    "You're stressed still, aren't you?"

    I nod.

"Leaders usually are. But really, you're doing great, boss. The group had their doubts about you, but you're exceeding all their expectations."

With that, Rinna exits my office, leaving me with a feeling of both fulfillment and newfound nerves. The group accepting me is what I've been struggling for since the moment I was brought in, and now that I'm in their good graces I can't help but fear the possibility of slipping out of them. There's still so much to be done––so many ways I could mess up the progress we're so close to obtaining.

We're not sure what they're hiding, I admit, but with these new cameras and our spies on the inside, we're bound to figure it out in no time. And once we figure that out, we can set up the blueprints for our main goal.

Things are going to work, some way or another. Seeing where they are now, and the conditions of the Famoux, there's no way we can't get done what we're aiming for.

I've got a good feeling about this.

    Things are looking up.

This OBVIOUSLY isn't all. I'll be updating with something much bigger later tonight/tomorrow!

Until then, some questions:

What do you think about DEFED right now?

Who do you think is DEFED? (Do you think you know them, or if they're more so comprised of people you haven't yet met?)

What do you think about Carstan being in the Famoux?

Do you think Carstan knows about Emeray?

WHO ARE YOU GONNA DREAM CAST CARSTAN AS WHEN HE BECOMES FAMOUX? (Aka which celebrity are we going to totally ruin with this horrible guy??)

See you soon. I love you.

Sticks and Stones may break your bones, but haters make you famoux. Stay classy, stay classix.
