I'm back, with a resource from an unlikely place.  I was driving and listening to NPR when I happened to catch a piece about television series finales.  I was struck by how much the interview really seemed to address story telling in general.  I got some really great insights from them, most importantly, using the characters' emotional beats more than the incidents of the story, and making sure your story ends in an explosion.  The most memorable line: The ending should feel like the orgasm of the story.  Listen for more gems.

Rating: 4/5

Homework: Think of a story that had an ending you found unsatisfying.  Rewrite it to make it better.
