Three years later...

"Three years, no Larry Daley. He was the one who took the fall for me, got me my job back," said McPhee to Tilly. The two were standing in his office at the museum. "I owe a lot to him, actually.  I heard he and Miss Bentley got married, he went back to school and became a teacher, and she wrote a book. I'm very glad."

"Yes, well when he heard about this traveling exhibit, Larry insisted that I deliver this to you personally-" Tilly reached into the case she had brought with her all the way from London and withdrew Ahkmenrah's tablet.

"Ah." McPhee took it. "The infamous, supposed 'glowing magical tablet'. Oh Larry Daley and his schemes."

"Larry said you could be trusted," said Tilly with a nod. "And you'd better get ready."

"For what?"

"For this!"

Before McPhee could question her again, the tablet began to glow in his hands. He gasped. "I-it really does glow."

"That's not all it does, come on!"

Excitedly, Tilly led him into the lobby where a grand reunion and revival took place.

There were Teddy and Sac riding on the back of Tex; they waved and saluted. And there was Ahkmenrah in charge of the music, with some help from Jed and Octavius. Attila and the Huns were having a good time dancing, and so was Dexter. Lancelot was awkwardly moving to the music, dancing by himself, until he caught the eye of a lone medieval maiden across the room.

Pretty soon, McPhee and Tilly joined in the dancing.

Outside, from across the street, two figures stood watching the celebration taking place, knowing exactly what was going on inside the museum.  Larry and Nat shared a smile.

(Awe :.) Happy ending - I do love those! ;)

I know I don't usually update the same story twice in one day, but this was such a small chapter, and we're at the end, so I thought 'why not?'!

Well, that's it, you have made it to the end of this story - yay! There will be one more chapter acting as an alternate earlier scene!

Thank you so much for supporting this story (even though it sometimes took me a long time to update!) I really appreciate all the support! :)

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed! :))
