The Concert (Nick Carter)

Chapter 22

-2 weeks later-
Today was the day Nick will be going on tour again. But his first concert was going to be here and he will continue the tour in 2 days

I walk downstairs and see my mom in the kitchen

"Have you told Nick?" She asks

I shake my head

She sighs "well you need to hurry up he deserves to know" and with that she walks away

"Hey baby" Nick kisses my lips as I enter his car

We drive in silence for a while and I see him pull over

"What are you doing?" I ask

"I'm tired of this" he says irritated

My heart drops "tired of what?"

"You not talking to me"

I sigh in relief, he wasn't breaking up with me

He shakes his head "I don't get it. Did i do something? Do you wanna break up with me?"

I shake my head "I don't want to break up with you, there's just a lot on my plate at the moment"

He looks at me "this has been going on for 2 weeks already. Does this have to do something with your dad?"

I sigh "Nick I'll tell you when I'm ready"

He glares at me for a few seconds before driving back on the road

"We're going on in 3 minutes so I'm to go into place" Nick tells me

I need to tell him. Is right now the best place? He's leaving in two days I might never get to tell him if I don't tell him now

"Nick wait" I call out for him

He turns around

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I ask hopefully

He glances at the stage then nods "sure just make it quick"

He sits down and I quickly grab his hands

"Remember that day I went to the doctor with daisy and I told you I had the flue?" I ask him

He nods

I shake my head "Nick it wasn't the flue"

He leans in, his hands tighting with mine "are you alright? Is something wrong?" He asks worried

Tears start to run down my face

"Hey, hey don't cry" he says wiping my tears away

"Nick" I sob "I'm pregnant, your going to be a father"

I feel his hands let go of mine

My head shoots up

"Nick buddy it's time to go on stage" Howie says coming into the room

He looks at me "Elsa are you okay?"

I look at Nick and see him pale with his mouth hanged open

I nod and wipe my tears away "I'm fine"

He taps Nick again and run to the stage to get ready

Nick quickly follows stumbling a bit

I stay back stage as the song goes on

"You are my fire, the one desire, believe me when I say that I want it that way" Brian sings

Nick dazed off but once he sees the guys dance he sings

"But we, are two worlds apart, can't reach to your heart when you say that you want it that why" "tell me why" He sings

"Ain't nothing but a heartache"

"Tell me why"

"Ain't nothing but a mistake"

I can't take this anymore, I get my bag and get up ready to leave

"Tell me why"

"I never wanna hear you say I want it that way"

Nick turns to look at me and sees me leaving

Before he can think twice he drops his Mic and rushes over to you before you can leave his life

The boys look around shocked and confused

You gasp once you see Nick in front of you

"Nick what are you doing? That's your future get back over there!" You shout pointing at the stage

"No" he says out of breath "You and this baby are my future and I'm not letting you slip away"

I shake my head tears falling once again "this is your dream Nick you can't throw it away"

He grabs my face in his hands "your my dream Elsa"

"What about your career?"

"I can still be in the band, you'll just have to be on tour with me" he says

"I don't think that's a good idea for the baby" I say looking at my stomach

Nick looks around "let's discuss this at my hotel"

I nod in agreement

We both hurry outside rushing past screaming fans and enter the limo.
