The Concert (Nick Carter)

Chapter 40

*The day of the wedding*

"I'm so nervous" I say chewing on my bottom lip

My mother smiles at me "oh honey! You look beautiful"

I smile at her "do I?"

"Yeah sis, you look stunning" Daisy  grins at me holding my two month baby in her arms

"Oh snap! I forgot the head piece in the limo, let me go get it" my mom says quickly getting out of the room

My sister smiles at me "Remember that time when we were both 15 and were talking about how we were going to marry a backstreet boy?"

I giggle at the memory and nod "I remember we made wedding invitations out of copy paper"

She laughs too and gives me a small smile "now look at you. Getting married to Nick Carter, hell you even have a child with him"

I smile at my baby boy "he looks just like him"

"I can't believe your 17" she gives me a small smile

I look away "shut up daisy before you make me cry"

We both laugh and my mom quickly rushes into the room And puts the viel on me

She gasps "look at my baby, all grown up"

"Mom" I whine

My dad comes in "ready?"

"Is it time?" I ask

He nods letting me know it is

I take a deep breath and walk towards my father

I turn around and see daisy giving me a thumbs up

I link arms with my dad and we walk to the church

We wait behind the brown door

"I'm sorry" my dad sighs

"What for?" I ask

"Everything" he tells me

"Dad let's not do this now, it's my wedding day" I tell him calmly

"But before I can give you away I need to make things right" he tells me

I sigh "you were supposed to be on my side and not turn on me"

"I know. I was just scared" he says

"Scared of what?" I ask annoyed

"When i found out you were dating Nick I was upset, you and your sister never tell me anything. And i don't know when I saw him and you two together, it made me feel like he was taking you away from me, your my youngest daughter, my little princess"

My look softens up "Dad, I can't be your little princess anymore"

He wipes his watery eyes "I know hunny, after today you will be my Queen"

My lip trembles "oh dad" I hug him

I feel more relieved that me and my father are now on good terms

The sound of the church goes off telling us it's time

"Ready?"my dad asks me

I take a deep breath and nod "let's do this"

The brown doors open slowly

My father and I walk down the steps

I smile at everyone I land eyes on

I can see the boys and I give them a small wave

They grin at me and wave back

I look further up and see Nick with wide eyes

Brian his best man has the exact look

My sister and mother along with Daniel are in the front row

I look at Nick again and our eyes connect

I can see this love in his eyes

I love this man so much

And before I know it we are face to face

He pulls of my vail and I notice his blue eyes are shinning

"You look beautiful" he whispers caressing my cheek

"I love you" i say holding in a breath I didn't know i was holding

His face breaks into a grin "I love you too"

The priest begins to talk "we are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Nick Carter and Elsa Cortes"

After him talking for a few minutes Nick and I can finally say our vows

Nick looks up at me with a loving smile and look into my eyes holding both of my arms

"Elsa Diana Cortes. You are my beautiful girlfriend who I want to be my wife so badly. I remember the time you were talking to me in Spanish and I was shocked, I had no clue you were Mexican" he chuckles as I do too

He then connects our hands again "The day of the concert where we met was the most happiest day of my life. And i have to thank Howie"

Everyone looks at Howie confused and Howie looks confused too

"If howie didn't pick you to be one of the three girls that got to dance with us on stage then I don't think we would be here right. So thank you Howie for leading me to this Angel in front of me. Elsa you are my love,  your my light, I love you more than words can even explain, you gave me a beautiful baby boy, your giving me my dream, I love you so much"

I wipe away my tears before it can ruin my makeup

"And now the vows from the bride"

I smile at Nick and he smiles back at me

"Nick gene Carter. You are the air that I breath, i love waking up and seeing you right by my side, I want to wake up like that every single day of my life. Nick I promise to always be by your side, I want to grow old with you, I know there's times when you don't feel loved because of all the problems your going through right now but I promise you, I will always be the one to love you and care for you"

I pause because my voice begins to shake

I notice Nick's eyes turning red from the crying

"Nick, I want us to be together forever. I haven't felt this way about anyone, you are the only boy I plan on loving and I know you feel the same way too. That day of the concert is the best day of my life because I found my soulmate" I give him hands a squeeze

I let out a laugh "You've been my favorite backstreet boy since I was 15! And i always dreamed on marrying you and having your children and look at me now, I'm living my dream"

He chuckles and looks down

"I love you Nick" I say while tears fall down my face as I go to wipe them away

I look at the crowd and see my mother and sister in tears

"Nickolas gene carter, do you take Elsa Diana Cortes to be your wife?"

Nick smirks at me "I do"

"Elsa Diana Cortes,  do you take Nickolas gene Carter to be your husband?"

I smile really big "i do"

He looks at the crowd "does anyone object?"

Silence

"In that case, I then pronounce you two husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride"

Nick quickly grabs me by the waist and plants his soft lips on mine

"Goooo Nicky!" Brian cheers from behind us

Nick And i laugh and pull away

"I give you all Nick and Elsa Carter!"

Nick and I hold hands and walk down the path as a married couple.
