*4 months later*
Nick and I were waiting in the waiting room of the doctor
Today we were going to find out the gender of our baby
"I'm nervous" Nick chuckles breaking the quiet room
"I am too" I admit
"Um excuse me" a women comes up to Nick and I
"Oh hi" I give her a friendly smile
She smiles back at me and looks at Nick "are you Nick Carter from the backstreet boys?"
Nick nods at her "yes, yes I am"
"I'm sorry but can I have your autograph? My daughter is a huge fan" she giggles
"Oh yeah sure" Nick nods
"Great" the lady smiles taking out a piece of paper from her purse along with a pen
Nick grabs it from her hand and begins writing once he's done he hands it to her with a sweet smile
"Thank you so much" she tells him gratefully
I notice her baby bump
"How far along are you?" I ask her
She looks down at her stomach "6 months"
She notices my baby bump too "Are you two expecting a baby?"
I blush and nod
Her eyes widend "I think my daughter told me you were sixteen"
"We are" Nick nods
She shifts uncomfortably "How far are you" she changes the subject
"I'm 5 months" I say awkwardly
"Elsa Cortes" the nurse calls out
"It was nice meeting you" I tell the lady as Nick and I stand
"You too" she gives me a small smile
The nurse leads us to a room
"Okay so I'm going to need you to sit lay here" she points to a chair
I nod and lay down she fixes up the machines
"The doctor will be in soon" she tells us
I get comfortable on the seat
I glance at Nick and notice him look scared
"You okay over there?" I giggle at him
His head snaps to me and he smiles a little "I'm okay"
"You sure? You seem a bit scared" I tell him seriously
"Just nervous and excited" He shrugged
The doctor comes in and she gives us a warm smile
"Hello, how are you?" She asks putting on her gloves
"We're good, thank you" Nick tells her politely
"Any pain?" She asks sitting down in a spin chair
"In my lower back" I show her
She waves me off "that's just cramps, it's normal"
"Any cravings?" She asks
"Plenty" Nick rolls his eyes
I slap his arm playfully
She claps her hands "ready for the ultrasound?"
I nervously nod
She gets the monitor ready
I grab Nick's hand as he stands by me
He rubs small circles to relax me
She lifts my shirt a bit
"This might be cold" she says before putting the gel on my stomach
She points to the monitor "You see that small thing right there?"
Nick and I nod
"That's your baby" she smiles at the monitor
My eyes water
I look up at Nick and see him smiling big at the monitor
"Will you like to know the gender of the baby?" She asks
Nick and I nod quickly
She moves the wond around and smiles
"You two will be having a boy! Congratulations!" She smiles
I look at Nick with a bright smile and see tears running down his face
He wipes them and looks down at me "we're having a baby boy" he whispers
"Want a picture?" She asks
"Yes please" I wipe my eyes
"Okay I'll be right back" she smiles at us before leaving
I pull my shirt down and look at Nick excitedly
"We're having a boy! Can you believe it!" I smile at him
His eyes are red from crying "I can't wait to tell everyone"
"When do you want to have the gender reveal party?" I ask him
"Tomorrow?" He asks
"That soon?" I ask "That means we'd have to shop for everything today"
"I'm just excited, I want everyone to know" He says
I give him a smile "Okay, let's have the party tomorrow"
