In the morning I collect my things and place them neatly in my bags. I head to the charter bus station and get everything sorted out so that I can get out of this state and further away from my problems. They tell you to not run from your problems and to face them but this is not one of those times. I wait for the bus to be ready and then I climb aboard and take a seat towards the back but not too close to the bathroom and luckily the seat I sat in had an outlet right by it so I could charge my devices if needed.

I put my duffle bag in the overhead compartment thing and my backpack in the seat next to me. Ok, that may be rude but I need my space and I don't need any adults asking me why I am without a parent on a charter bus. After a while, everyone that is going is on and the bus pulls away. A short video plays telling you the rules and everything of the bus and do's and don'ts.

I pull out my computer and plug in my headphones and watch the latest videos of my favorite YouTubers and some I have missed. When I get bored of that I go to a tv channel's website to stream some random episodes of some of my favorite shows. After several hours we stopped at a rest stop.

I quickly went inside and did my business before going back to my seat on the bus. I grabbed out my phone and turned it on for the first time since I left home. As you can guess there were messages from my parents. Consisting of questions like where are you, why did you leave, come home the police are looking for you. But I ignored them as you could probably guess. I looked at social media of all types, ignoring the messages and everything from my friends, I scrolled through looking at everything, I played some games before eating some food at a stop.

On my computer I watched A few more episodes of Supernatural, trying to get caught up as I recently had started watching it. Time passed and I started to feel tired so I grabbed my phone back out and plugged my earbuds in and turned on some music and I drifted off to sleep. When I woke it was early morning so I took it as an opportunity to write in my journal.

So it is early in the third morning of running away, yesterday I went to a charter bus station and got a ticket I will be riding it until I feel like I am a good distance away from my home state overall it was boring but nothing bad happened and nobody has questioned me being here I spent time on my phone and computer watching videos and tv which was nice. Will update more later.

By then we were taking a breakfast stop at a rest stop that was in the middle of nowhere at the farthest side of Nebraska away from Illinois, close to the border between Nebraska and Wyoming. I grabbed both of my bags and went into the building, easily finding the women's bathroom. I go in and lock the stall door and pull out a fresh change of clothes.

After changing I brush through my tangled hair making myself look less like a slob. I head to the other side which is a small restaurant and buy a small meal before taking some of the appetite suppressants. When I finish eating I look around and notice there are few people here, so I grab my bags and walk outside look to where the bus I was on was parked but I didn't see it.

I look around thinking maybe it was parked somewhere else but it was nowhere to be found. This is not okay I am stranded in the middle of nowhere Nebraska and don't know where anything is or even how I would get somewhere.

I head back inside the rest stop and look at the map they have hanging on the wall. It was old and faded from the years it has been there and the glass was dirty from when people would touch it. All I could make out on the map was a red star that had the words you are here written in it and faint lines of highways.

"What a helpful map you are," I say to myself. I pull out my phone hoping that I could get google maps but no it was dead. I decide to pull out my computer to see if anything would work, but the stupid thing started updating. What am I going to do, I think to myself. I grab my bags slinging my backpack over my shoulders and tightly gripping my duffle bag. I walk outside and head in some random direction hoping that I will find something helpful.

After what seems like an eternity I reach another road, a dirt road but a road nonetheless. I didn't see it at the time but there was a sign for a family's ranch at the head of the road. On the dirt road I come to a stop I was too tired to go on so I sat on a stump of a fallen tree. I take my backpack off and place it on the ground next to my duffle bag before reaching for my water bottle and taking a long drink.

I sat for a few moments trying to regain my strength to continue walking, just as I was about to get up and leave I saw something coming towards me down the road. It looked to be a car from far off but as it got closer I noticed that it wasn't a car and that it was someone on horseback. As whoever got closer they slowed down and came to a stop beside me, I recognized him immediately.

"Sasha? What are you doing here?" he asked. Great, he recognized me. I had to make something up fast I couldn't tell him the truth.

"Well my parents let me take a charter bus trip thing this summer but at one of the stops they left without me so I have been walking since like 9: 30 this morning trying to find something that would be of help to me."

"Well, that's gotta suck."

"Yeah, you don't need to tell me that. Anyways why are you here and on horseback."

"This is a family member's ranch we stay with them for a few weeks in the summer."

"I didn't know you had family out here."

"Well, we don't exactly talk so why would you."

"I don't know."

"So do you need a place to stay I bet my family would let you stay with us. Maybe call your family and they can come get you."

"No, I mean yes but no need to call my parents I don't need them to know that I messed up they are trusting me to get back in a week and a half."

"Well we can figure something out I'm sure. Come on I'll take you to the house." Getting off the horse he grabs my duffle bag and ties it to the saddle somehow and I throw my backpack over my shoulders and climb on behind him.

"You all good back there?"

"Yeah and thank you for doing this Austin."

"No problem."
