**Important please read. Just a heads up for some people there is somewhat of spoilers for Supernatural mainly the first three seasons so if you have seen past that then you should be fine  if you don't care well good for you but if you haven't gotten that far read with caution.**

We jump on the horses and start on the way moving at the fastest pace we could go which was difficult for me as I am a beginner. Though we are going fast the storm is going faster and soon is overhead us and we start getting wet it wasn't much rain at first then within a few minutes it was a downpour lucky us. And this rain it was freezing cold like getting thrown into a snowbank.

"Only about 20 more minutes at this pace," Austin yells over his shoulder to me after about an hour and a half of riding.

"Then let's go faster," I yell to him.

"We don't want to overexert the horses then we would have to walk and I don't think you would want that."

"Yeah, you're right." We continue and after a few minutes, I see the house and in the distance. We start going the slightest bit faster. When we made it to the barn we hopped of the horses and took their tack off hanging it up to dry.

"Well that was fun," I say once everything was put away.

"Your sarcasm is duly noted."

"Well good that was my intention," I said shivering.

"We should probably get into the house so we can dry off before dinner."

"Sounds good to me." We make a break for the house running as fast as we can in soaked clothing. When I get in the house I notice that Austin isn't right behind me but a minute later I see why. When he walks through the door I burst out laughing at the sight in front of me, Austin was covered in mud from head to toe including his face. The commotion brought the adults into the room and they just stared at us a minute before joining in my laughter.

"You can stop laughing now," Austin basically yells at all of us. A minute later the laughter dies down.

"Ok you guy wait here while we get you some towels." his mom says as she walks away. "And I will get some hot water going for you guys and maybe put a fire in the fireplace," his dad adds while walking away.

"It was fun until the rain right?" Austin says from beside me.

"Yeah, it was to bad the rain had to bring it to a soggy end."

"Well maybe if the rain lets up by tomorrow I can show you around the ranch for real this time."

"Sounds fun as long as I am not cooped up in the house all day." He is about to ask when his mom reappears with towels for us followed shortly by his dad with two steaming cups of hot chocolate. He sets them on the countertop as we dry off enough so we don't drip all over the floor.

Once dry enough to enter the main portion of the house we go to our respective rooms to change into dry clothes. When I get back to the kitchen after changing Austin is carrying our mugs to the living room. When he sees me he walks over hands me my mug and speaks.

"My dad finally got a fire going in the living room and there are tons of blankets in there so we can warm up. Plus the adults are in the theater room watching some boring old movie so the flat screen in the living room is free."

"Sweet!" I say taking the cup and walking to the living room with Austin. We set our drinks on a table and get the blankets out and situated and turn on the TV. We sat on a couch that has a good view of the tv him on the right side and me on the left. I had my legs somewhat under me in a way where my body was facing Austin and my mug in my hands. He held the remote and was flipping through different channels.

When he finally chose a channel the end credits for an episode was playing but I could tell what it was and I was surprised by what he chose.

"Supernatural?" he doesn't respond he just looks away somewhat embarrassed. "No need to be embarrassed I won't judge you for liking it, and that is because I happen to love it," I say happily.

"Really?"

"Of course, I mean have you seen the cast."

"So that is why you watch it for the guys."

"Well, that and I love the supernatural you know demons, werewolves, angles, that kind of stuff."

"What about vampires."

"No, I am not a fan of vampires well not all of them so Twilight kind of ruined that."

"So I take it you don't like Twilight."

"Not even a little bit Dean and his pie is a better love story than Twilight."

"And you circle it back around to Supernatural."

"Well yeah. And I am guessing you haven't gotten too far into the series yet."

"No not really I started just recently."

"That's why you didn't get my reference."

"What?"

"Nothing. So how far are you into it."

"In season three."

"You still have pre-hell Dean."

"So he does go to hell."

"Yeah sorry for the spoiler."

"I figured. So how far are you?"

"Well I also started recently but not as recent as you I am at the end of season 5 but I have seen some spoilers not bad ones but I know some things you wouldn't at this point." We are silent for a moment before I speak again. "What episode is this anyway?" "An episode from season 1 or 2 I think but we will see in a minute I guess," he replies

"Yeah you can tell seasons by Sam's hair and how much hope they have."

"That is sad but true." Silence falls between us as the next episode starts. The episode was from season 2 it was titled Crossroad blues and in the episode, Sam and Dean investigate at a local dive bar where peoples dreams have been coming true by making deals with demons. When the episode ends I run to the bathroom and refill my hot chocolate as I was still cold from our rain shower that was over an hour ago. When I reenter the living room and join Austin on the couch another episode is starting.

"Are they doing a marathon or something today?" I ask as I reposition the blankets on my lap.

"I don't know maybe but if there is then there will be something to do while it rains." We watch some of that episode before it is time for supper when we go to the dining room to eat. Once we finished eating me and Austin returned to the living room to watch some more episodes of supernatural. It turns out that there was a marathon on so we sat on the couch and watched it all night.

At some point, the adults came up from the theater room to head to bed and told us we should too but we were in the middle of an episode so we said we would after this episode which turned into the next until we eventually fell asleep.
