We ride to the house in silence it takes about 5 minutes to get there from where we were. When we get there he gets my bag off the saddle and we walk inside. He goes to people who I assume are his parents and begins talking with them. Probably explaining my presents and asking if I could stay with them until they head back home. After a minute they stand up and they all walk over to me.

"So you were left behind by the bus you were on?"

"Yes, I was."

"Well if you want to stay I suppose it is okay with us as long as your parents wouldn't mind."

"As long as I get home by the time I said I should they will be fine. They trust me enough."

"Well grab your bags I will show you to a room."

"Thank you so much."

"Of course anything for a friend of Austin's." I go into the room I was lead to and set up my things I might as well stay and when they leave me at a place when we get back to Illinois I will just run away from there again. I decided to pull out my notebook and write in it.

Still the third day of running away I was left at a rest stop by the charter bus I decided to walk to see where I could get to when I got to a dirt road I followed it apparently it was on a family's ranch. And guess what that family is Austin's. And what's more is he is here yeah he is the one who found me I lied to him saying my parents let me go on a trip I couldn't tell him the truth so for about a week and a half I will be staying with him and his family. And just a side note man he looks so hot on a horse. But the bad thing is I wanted to get over him now how am I supposed to do that. Well until later.

6/21/16

I close my notebook and put it aside I am about to grab my computer and do something on t to keep myself entertained but Austin peaks his head in the room.

"Hey, I assume you are hungry."

"You bet."

"Well there is some food for lunch--" before he can finish his sentence I am up off the bed and heading to the door. Even though I took the suppressants I still needed something to eat. We all sat at the table and ate silently until Austin's mom spoke up.

"Hey, Austin you should show Sasha around the ranch tomorrow so you have something to do."

"Yeah If your fine with it we could." he looks at me for an answer. Well, I'm not going anywhere so might as well do something that is not sitting in bed watching tv.

"Yeah sounds fun." The rest of the meal we chatted about random things they mostly talked about the ranch and what that is like but it was nice a change of pace from almost always being excluded from the conversation.

Later that night I sit in the bed on my computer watching a movie I have seen hundreds of times before questioning why I agreed to go with Austin to be shown the ranch. Maybe it was because it might seem rude to refuse, maybe it is because it will give me something to do, or maybe as much as I don't want to admit it maybe I don't want to get over Austin.

In no time the movie credits are playing and I look at the time and see it is getting late, so I shut the computer and get comfortable and fall asleep. The next morning I am awoken to a knocking on the door followed by a voice.

"Hey Sasha, get up you can't sleep the whole day we going on a ride remember."

"Okay fine just give me a minute."

"Well hurry up before your food goes cold." I quickly hop out of bed and change my clothes and run a brush through my hair once or twice or a hundred times to make it look presentable. Then I walk out the door and join Austin at the table noticing he is the only one up it is then that I notice the time, 7:45.

"Your parents not up yet."

"No, they normally get up at around 9."

"So then why did you wake me up at this ungodly hour."

"Because if you want to see the whole ranch before too late then we have to get going soon now eat your food." I take a bite of the pancakes that sit on the plate with some bacon.

"So you made this," I ask gesturing to the food with my fork.

"Yeah, you surprised."

"Kinda most guys don't know how to cook edible food."

"Understandable. Now finish your food I'm going to tack up the horses then I will come and get you."

"Yes sir," I say mockingly saluting him with my fork, but he just rolls his eyes at me and walks out the door. I take another few bites of the pancake and finish the few bacon strips before taking the suppressants. While I waited for him to come get me I took care of the dirty dishes rinsing them off and placing them in the dishwasher. A minute later Austin comes back in.

"You took care of the dishes?"

"Yes."

"You didn't have to do that my parents would have gotten them."

"Yeah but they are being kind enough to let me stay here and somewhat crash your vacation so I thought it might be nice to take care of the dishes so when they wake up there is not a mess to take care of."

"I guess that is a nice thing to do. Well, you ready to go."

"I guess, but I will warn you I haven't ridden a horse by myself in years," I say as we walk out the door.

"Well it is not hard so you'll catch on quick," he states as we get to the two horses that are tied up outside the house. " You need a leg up or are you good?"

"I'm a strong independent woman and I don't need no man's help." he gives me a questioning look which I laugh at. "I'll manage on my own." I hop up onto one of the horses and he gets on the other and we head off.
