Once I walk out Ryder looks at me confused before I smirk and walk up to him.

"Did you get my text?" he asks me a little angry.

"Yep" I say before grabbing my phone and my bag from the couch.

"Then why are you-"he begins but I just smile lightly before cutting him off.

"So what are we doing?" I ask before laughing at his death stare he gives me.

"Im kidding, I will go change" I say before walking out, before I walk away Ryder grabs my arm and whispers something In my ear.

"One more thing Ms Snow, you can't tease me because you know only I can do that do you" he says before letting me go.

I blush and I stumble a little before rolling my eyes and walking back into the guest room.

"Can you please tell me where the hell we are going?" I ask while Ryder literally blindfolded me in the car.

"No, it's a surprise" he says and I almost am certain that he was smirking the whole time.

"Are you killing me?" I ask worriedly, Hey you never know I have only known this guy for a few weeks.

Ryder chuckles before driving faster before speaking.

"No Addison, glad you have so much trust me" he says sarcastically.

"Well I-"I stop talking once the car stops and Ryder gets out.

My door flies open and Ryder picks me up out of the car after I unbuckled my seat belt.

"Um, can you let me go now?" I ask while he holds me tighter.

"Whatever" he says before placing me down on the ground, he removes the blindfold from my eyes and I pray it didn't ruin my makeup.

As I flutter my eyes back open, I gasp and spin around and then hug Ryder.

"Oh my God this is so beautiful" I say before Ryder hugs me back with a smile.

My eyes have never seen anything more beautiful, it was a bridge that lead to a table right near the ocean.

I was in love with this place already but one thing stuck in my mind, why?

"Ryder it's so nice but why did you bring me here?" I ask as we let go of the hug and stare at each other.

"Because, I-I felt bad about the stress you went through so I brought you here" he says as I couldn't wipe the smile that appeared on my face.

"Well thank you, maybe you're not so cold and heartless as everyone thinks you are" I say while nudging him in the arm.

He smirks a little before grabbing my hand and leading me down the bridge.

I look at the view and I couldn't help but feel like I had no worries in the world, it was so breathtaking, the sun was setting right before my very eyes and the whole vibe about the place was incredible.

But some things were just wrong, was I seriously on a 'date' with my boss?

I jerked out of my thoughts when Ryder held the chair out for me, saying thank you I took a seat and then I was sitting across from Ryder.

I watched Ryder pour two glasses of wine, I held the glass in my hands and looked at it before sipping it when he was looking at me weirdly.

To be honest it was the first time I have ever drunk alcohol before, but I had no regrets.

I looked up and saw Ryder Ordering, I sat up and told the waiter my order before she winks at Ryder and then, finally leaves.

"So, did you get up to date with you work?" he asks me while I mentally roll my eyes.

Out of all the dinner conversations, work...really?

"Yes, I did don't worry" I replied while playing around with my glass.

Once our food came, I finally got so bored I had to say something.

"So, how old are you?" I ask while Ryder smirked at me.

"Twenty four, you?" he asks me, wow I thought he was older.

"Um, nineteen" I say I turned nineteen the month I finally ran away.

Ryder bites his lip before holding his hand out, I looked at him before taking his hand slowly.

"Dance with me" he says before slow music came on, I blushed a little but it couldn't be seen by the darkness behind us.

I moved away a little when a dim light appeared on, was this planned?

But I had no time to ask because I was dragged into the centre of the bridge, Ryder grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him my hand moved into his and my breath caught in when he come up to my face.

"Have you ever danced before?" he asks me before I bite my lip, I have never danced before.

"N-no, I haven't" I say a little embarrassed I mean who hasn't danced before?

"Well I will teach you" he says in my ear before spinning me around.

Then we danced around in a small circle, it felt so easy when he was right by my side.

My hand moved to his chest when he pulled me closer and then spun me around again.

My dress swayed and my hair blew lightly in the wind and then my heart dropped in my stomach when he lifted me up.

For fun I posed which made both of us laugh lightly, once I was back on the ground we danced even more, the simple type.

As I was dancing and looking up into his eyes, a million thoughts raced through my mind.

I was dancing with Ryder, my boss and I was dancing when a million problems are in my life.

But for once I pushed those thoughts away and just danced with Ryder and I had no regrets.

"I had fun, thanks Ryder Walsh" I say before winking at him and shutting the car door behind me.

Once I enter the apartment building, I watched Ryder's car drive away fast before I smiled and turned to unlock the door.

Sighing happily that Mia was asleep so she couldn't question me, I had a quick shower, removed my makeup, changed into the comfiest pyjamas I could find before jumping on my bed and falling into a deep sleep.

An alert from my phone was the last thing I heard before I drifted off to sleep with one thing in my mind.

Ryder

Question of the day:

What do you think of the date?
