Honeysuckle love

I saw a bumblebee flit passed
On the wind it carried itself till it seemed to stop in front of me
It's multifaceted eyes seemed to peer at me
I leaned forward, wishing
Glancing at this tiny buzzing held together by an exoskeleton
I wondered if it had a message for me
It floated in midair among the leaves rushing passed us
And then it flitted to the right
It's message was not for me
But for its love that had just emerged from the nearby bush

With the wind as their guide they swirled around one another
I was left standing with the wind blowing my hair around
What must it feel like? I thought
To stop mid-flight in anticipation of seeing your love
Forgoing the wind to see them emerge in a vibrant vibrating tumble
To stand in awe and be content to just -
watch
