[QUESTION: how can you leave somewhere you never left?

                          /

ANSWER: you leave someone who loved you from your bone marrow to your skin behind. Let them fester in this loneliness you felt unique too. Feed them on doubts collected under molten skies of melting dawns. You kiss them no differently than any other day. you leave them to wonder why a heart can break beat bleed but never believe again. You linger in their dreams as you fly to your self-imposed exile. You dream again under powdered blushing clouds waking with an ache to return phantom-like to where they are. you wonder how to remove yourself from the labyrinth of a heart you still call yours.]
