I wake up whisper and giggles coming from above me. It was too bright for me to open my eyes to see who the noise was coming from. I also felt something warm on top of me. Thinking it was just a blanket, I threw it off of me, but when a loud thud came from it hitting the floor, I knew I was wrong. I turned over and looked at the ground to find Seth on the ground.

"Seth, why are you on the ground?" I gave him a puzzled look.

"A better question is why are you two snuggling on the couch I watch football on?" Emmett was standing above us, along with the rest of the family and Jacob. The boys were smirking, and the girls were giggling in the back. I looked back at Seth and started to remember what had happened last night... we watched a movie and fell asleep on the couch together. Nobody is ever going to let me live this down.

"We watched a movie last night because we both couldn't sleep, we must have fallen asleep at some point." Seth got up off the floor.

"Edward?" Jas looked at him.

"He is telling the truth. His mind isn't giving anything to indicate that he is lying." I bite my lip, and even though it was true, I couldn't help feeling weird about last night. It's not that I didn't like it, but I didn't want to lead Seth on it at the same time. I knew how bad a relationship could be before us. Even if I wasn't part of the Volturi anymore, I still don't know how they will take me being with someone, expecting a werewolf, and I wasn't going to put him in danger like that. If I can keep people from getting hurt, I will. I pushed myself off the couch and walked upstairs just to get away from everyone. I heard Bella call my name, but I ignored her. I got to my room and lay on my bed just thinking about everything. God, why does this have to be so confusing? Like why can't life be easy, I left the Volturi for a reason. I got up to take a shower. Maybe a hot shower would help. I turned the nozzle to the left and waited for the water to warm up. A few minutes later, I jumped in and let the water run down my back, soothing my tense muscles. If I could stay here forever, I would. It's just something about a nice shower that helps almost everything. Are you in pain for a good run, Take a shower? Need to think about everything going on in life and take a shower. Feel the need to sing a full musical. Take a shower. Need a good mood setting for sex, and take a nice steaming shower. Problem solved...well almost. I stayed in the shower for almost an hour, After shutting off the water, I wrapped a towel around myself and then walked to my closet. I grabbed a pair of joggers and a loose t-shirt. I wrapped the towel around my hair and piled it all on top of my head. I walked downstairs hoping no one would be there...I was wrong, I should have just stayed in my room

"I never understood how girls can wrap their hair like that." Quil was sitting on the floor in the living room with the rest of the pack.

"Well, maybe if you weren't so dumb, you could figure it out." Leah came walking in from outside.

"YO, that's rude." Quil throws his hands in the air.

"Well, she isn't wrong." I rolled my eye and sat on one of the bean bags I had bought a few days ago. I fidgeted with my fingers for a while, not knowing what to say or do. Everyone around me just went around having a casual conversation like what happened an hour ago never happened. We sat around like this for most of the day. It was nice just to be able to chill with everyone and not have to worry about everything.

"Hey, Jasmine, do you have any of those weird vampire superpowers like Alice or Edward?" Quil turned and looked at me. I chuckled at his choice of words.

"Well, the short story is I can have all of them in just one touch." I looked around the room. My family knew this already. The first day I spent with the family before Carilse could explain to them that if they touched me, I would gain their powers: Alice and Edward were all over me. After Carlisle realized what happened, he got everyone together and told them.
