we had just finished eating as did the rest of the pack nicholas stood up and look all around then he tapped his fork to his glass and everyone looked at him, nicholas then looked at me and gestured for me to stand next to him i stood up after he gave me the look
"Everyone i have an annoucement to make I would like you to all Meet Mercy My MATE" he says in a alpha tone the whole room started to talk saying things like
"lucky" or "she isn't even that pretty" and even "he should have been mine"
i just waved awkwardly to them and they all looked at me then nicholas
"As my mate said i am Mercy macromerra i am the currrent alpha of a pack i would like to remain hush hush for a bit longer and your future luna feel free to ask me anything so long as it can be kept PG" i say finishing off mt sentence with a warm smile
they all smiled back some fake some real i wanted them to know i want them to trust me a little boy soon tugged at my dress
"miss mercy will you be here to protect us?" he asks
"well yes and to help take care of all of you" i tell him
"ok-ay" he says going to his friends
"bye now and be safe" i tell him
"you will be a great luna" nicholas says wrapping his arms around my waist
"bruh i am already a alpha shut the fluff up" i tell him
" i know" he says. here it comes
"but you have never been an alpha to a pack this large" he says
"you cleary know nothing" i mumble
"about what" he says
