11 months and 21 days after Stevenson arrived in Amaife and was welcomed as one of them, he took his leave, armed with his manuscript and his briefcase. He was going to publish his book but first he was going back home to fight for his freedom.
And so gradually the people of Amaife where going to rediscover their faith in humanity. Things could only get better. The devil that started by selling okrika and evolved to wearing okrika had been caught and justice had been served. Poetic justice had turned out to be jungle justice. And Pa Kenneth had been killed and buried deep in the woods although no one knew this. Well no one apart from Benedict.
There won't be a 'devil wears okrika' anymore...not in Amaife, not anymore.....that was one thing everyone was sure of.
But the devil also wears Prada. Everybody knows that!
