Season 6, episode 0.5.

Words: 1K.

Note: This is a extra chapter I wanted to add, because I need something to happen between season 5 and 6. It's short but necessary. And there is one curse word.

"Y/n, I love you." Cole hesitantly said, as the two were still sitting on top of the ferry. He realised what he said and was about to leave.

"Cole I-" Y/n cutted herself off, not knowing what to say.

"Shit, I knew I shouldn't have said that. This makes everything awkward-"

"Cake boi," She deeply inhaled, "Today was astonishing. I'm tired a-and there's so much going on in my head."

"It's okay." He cracked a smile, turning around to jump off the roof. He didn't even let her finish.

"But, I love you too." She replied, smiling.

"Y-you do?" He asked, his eyes full of joy, as he turned around to face her.

"Ye-ah... I do."

He quickly walked back to her and hugged her tightly.

"I'm so sorry I ever broke up with you for Nya." He muttered in the crook of her neck.

"We all know my crackhead brother and her are a better match." She replied, chuckling.

"Yeah, yeah..."

"Hey, can I do this?" He asked, making her shot a questionable look.

"Do what?" She tilted her head.

"Do this." He cupped her face with his hands and pressed his soft lips against hers.

It's been a few days and the team left to Ninjago City. Today, Y/n wanted to go to Stiix. And Cole decided to go with her, knowing how much Morro meant to her.

They walked around the debris that was spread over the little town.

They went to what formerly was Ronin's Pawnshop. Y/n looked around, seeing the poncho Morro had when his human body died. She had taken it from the Caves of Despair, but left it after they went back to Steep Wisdom from the Tombe of the First Spinjitzu Master.

How it came there, she had no idea. She left it at the shop, not here. Maybe Ronin had taken it when he returned to Stiix?

She picked the poncho from the ground, examinating it. She saw the badge of a Wind Master. She sighed and puts it back on it previous place. Which was in the debris.

She was about to walk away, but stopped herself. A guilty feeling hitted her.

The poncho didn't - couldn't - even do anything, but still she felt like it wanted her to have it.

She turned on her heel, towards the poncho. She took it from the ground again. The badge of a Wind Master was shining in the morning sun.

Sure, it was cold, but still she had a warm feeling inside her. Cole took the badge of the poncho and placed it on Y/n's own gi. She took the poncho as well and threw it over her arm.

"In this way, he'll always be with me." She slightly chuckled, motioning at the badge and poncho. But with a sad frown.

"I know you cared about him. If I could ever make him return, I would." He replied, as they start walking away.

The people who were rebuilding Stiix already, looked at Cole. He is a Ghost and they kinda hate Ghosts after they destroyed Stiix.

"I already wish I wasn't a Ghost anymore." He sadly said, as he noticed the dirty glares the villagers shot at him.

"They'll get used to it. And so will you." She replied, as their fingers interwined.

"And who knows, maybe there is a way to return human again." She shrugged, as they walked out the small town.

As they were walking off the dock, onto normal land again, they looked at a small sign that said 'Stiix.'

"Come on, it's a new year. We should be having fun."

"Oh, I totally forgot about that." He laughed, "This was definitly the strangest new year's party I've ever had." She laughed.

"Shall we head back?" She continued, turning to him and stopping with walking. "I mean, we said we'd be back in an hour."

He pressed his lips against hers, "I love you."

"I love you, too." .

"Breezy..." He whined, and they pulled away.

"'Breezy', huh?" She chuckled, as they interwined their hands again.

They returned to Ninjago City, as a group of fangirls came running at the two.

"Oh my gawd! Are they finally together!?"

"No! I deserve Cole!"

"The purple ninja is going out with the black ninja! Aah!"

"Can you sign my posters?!"

"But what about (S/n/K) (Ship name with Kai)!?"

"I ship (S/n/C) (Ship name with Cole)!"

"Uhh, let's get out of here." Cole muttered, running away and pulling Y/n along.

They hid behind a building, panting.

"What happened with the people? Normally they didn't care we saved the city; The great devourer, Overlord, Overlord two-point-zero, Chen..." Y/n listed off everything that happened.

"I dunno, but I think it's better if we head back." Cole replied, and they both do Airjitzu to reach the top of a building.

"Hey, Nya, where are ya'll?" Y/n asked over the com, jumping from building to building.

"We're heading your way with the bounty," The water ninja replied, steering the wheel towards the two.

"I already don't like being 'famous.'" Y/n panted, as they waited on a building for Nya to show up.

"Me neither." Cole agreed.

"Hey, just remember; As long as the team is together, we'll get through it." Cole added. "Fangirls can be worse than serpentine, or Chen, or Ghosts..."

"But, Breezy, when we're together it works too."

So yeah, I didn't put an author's note in previous chapter because I liked it better to end it that way.

This is kinda a prologue to season 6, Skybound. I really like season 6, honestly.

And guess what; You can still vote for your favorite.

Vote for who you want Y/n to end up with:

Cole: Comment here;

Kai: Comment here;

Sadly, Morro is dead. (Yeah, I know. I could've let him live.) So he's also removed from the list.

See you in the next chapter!
