"Sandra, I'm so happy to see you again." Mom said enveloping Sandra in a hug.

"Me too, and this my husband, Walter, My oldest daughter Lillibeth, and My son, Jackson."

Lillibeth and Mr Walter smiled at mom and Lillibeth also gave mom a small wave, whereas Jackson just stood there with a scowl on his face.

"Jackson, don't be rude and say hello." Sandra said when she noticed his expression.

"Hello."he said gruffly

I snickered a bit which made Jackson shoot a quick glare at me.

"Let's move to the dining room, shall we." Mom led them to the kitchen where Luna, Jake and dad were waiting.

After the introduction, we sat at the table for a very awkward moment before Mom asked Jake to say a prayer then we began to eat.

The conversations were kept light and as a bonus it wasn't directed at me so I didn't mind.

But I spoke too soon,
"So, April what school do you attended?" Mr Walter asked shifting the conversation to me.

He had Been silent all through mom's and Sandra's conversation, just smiling and nodding with whatever they asked him.

"Everview high school." I pushed my food around with my fork.

"That's the same school Jackson attends. So you too haven't met each other?" Sandra said with excitement lacing at her tone.

"No, I just transferred there two weeks ago." I could feel Jackson's hard glare on me. I looked up from my food for the first time since the dinner began and he was indeed glaring at me then he quickly averted his gaze.

"That's great and now you both are acquainted, he can help you adapt to your new school, isn't that right Jack." Sandra seemed so excited, i wonder how she'll react when I tell her that her son is one of my prominent bullies.

" right. Can I go to the bathroom?" He said and grabbed his phone off the table.

" Of course dear. April please show him where it is." Mom said and turned back to Sandra and her husband to continue with their conversation.

I stood up and indicating for Jackson to follow, which he did. It was a very awkward and seemingly long trip to the bathroom.

"Here's the bathroom." I pointed to the door and turned to leave but he stopped me by roughly grabbing my forearm.

"Look, you I hate you and you me hate right? Just don't mention anything about the whole bullying thing to my mom or else you'll face the consequences." He threatened and even clenched his fist for effect.

"I wasn't planning to but seeing as how you really don't want your mom to know makes me reconsider my decision." I smirked smugly. It felt so good to have the upper hand.

I noticed how his jaw tightened In anger. He roughly pushed m3 against the bathroom door which hurt like hell. "I'm not joking. Say a word to my mother and you'll f*cking see what I'm made of." We began to heatedly glare at each other. I wasn't sure how much time had passed before someone cleared their throat which immediately caught our attention.

" You done using the bathroom little brother." Lilli smirked at our position. I roughly pushed Jackson away and went back to the dining room.

"April what took you so long?" Mom asked the moment I entered the dining room.

"Nothing." I continued to play around with my food.

" really, because what I saw was something." Lillibeth smirk was still plastered on her face, never leaving and it only grew when Jackson sat down directly opposite me.
