Lisa's POV

We ended up on a cafe with silence surrounding us like someone will shoot a bullet through our heads once we speak. Jennie's basically just looking at Kai while Kai's enjoying his cup of coffee while he smile at us time to time. Me? I'm like a time bomb who's about to blow up with this long silence

"okay, you both won the staring contest now can we go home?" I ask and was about to stand up when Jennie put her hand on my leg so she can stop me from standing up "you're not even talking what's the point of staying?" I ask pissed off

"Lisa" she said seriously so I stayed there sighing heavily as I wait for them to start talking

"I heard you're a photographer now Lisa" Kai says looking towards me

"the one who told you was quite nosy" Jennie turns to look at me like i'm being disrespectful which I am actually. Kai sighs and smile as he let out a soft chuckle making me look at him

"dont worry Lisa" he said "I'm not the type of guy who keeps meddling on a happy relationship" he said and by the way he said it he seems sincere and right after we went home from Finland I never heard anything from him. The last time Jennie told me was Kai left the country without talking to her "I know it wont be that convincing cause i keep on interfering with your relationship back then but that time I know nothing about your relationship with Jennie. I went back to Korea that time with one information that Jennie's on a public stunt kind of relationship just so she can have the company not knowing that I am ruining a relationship that was bound to be real in the first place."

"But you pursue Jennie when we ended the deal didnt you?" I ask while Jennie's just silent and listening to us

"I did and I was wrong. I thought I had a chance when you two ended the deal but I'm actually just trying to stop something that is inevitable which is dumb." he said taking a sip from his coffee " when I heard what happened in Finland.. I realized that there's no reason for me to stay. I left the country and just focused on our company" he said smiling towards me

"is it a good thing that we're on the same table right now? " I asked since it is awkward

"not really.. I havent completely moved on just yet but let's just say I'm happy that Jennie ended up with someone like you" he said 

"she's lucky" I said earning a punch on my arm from Jennie which makes Kai laugh

"you can handle her very well dont you?" Kai said making me chuckle "ya Jennieyah" he calls out making Jennie turn her head to look at Kai's direction "go easy on Lisa"

"I do think being on the same table isnt a good idea cause you two are just teaming up against me" 

"but seriously, I know you too well Jennie cause we've been together for quite a while"

"yup thanks for rubbing that in my face" I said jokingly making Kai laugh

"I just wanted to say that you should open up to Lisa more" he said looking at Jennie

"I am. I'm opening up to her"

"but you're holding back somehow" kai said which makes Jennie nod. I do notice that actually. I'm mostly the talkative one between the both of us and Jennie's quite the opposite. She talks to me sometimes but I feel like she knows me way too well and I have some things that I havent figured out about her just yet "I know you did change when I left you before and I really am sorry for that"

"Don't worry" I said "I wont push her to open up to me.. I just want her to feel comfortable enough around me to share more of her stories and thoughts.  I think she improved a lot from the day I met her. We have all the time in the world to get to know each other more" I said looking towards Jennie but she's already staring at me

"Well I just hope for the best when it comes to you guys" Kai said making me smile. No wonder Jennie fell for him that much. He is a great guy it's just that we tend to hate the person that used to be the one in our place that we forgot to focus on how to be a better version of our self. "by the way before I go, your mom called me" he said catching Jennie's attention

"what does she need now?"

"well she wants me to go to korea for your family gathering... it's fine if you don't want me to come" oh right Jennie told me about that family gathering 

"no it's fine you can come. It'll also be dad's early birthday celebration since he'll be out of the country during his actual birthday. Some stockholders will also be there so it's not just a family gathering and I'm pretty sure dad will be glad if you'll go"

"yeah it'll be better" I said "even though i'm his favorite... just saying" Jennie shake her head as she chuckle

"well then.. I'll see you guys there" he said smiling at us and standing up as he walk closer to us to give us both a hug before leaving
