ion know what Nari had going on buh she said she wanted to take me somewhere. ion never really hang around people like dat but ion know looking at da way Lani laugh and smile around her made me respect ha.
"Key" i heard Lani yell ta me from her room. "Nari said she's outside"
"aight, stay safe luh' girl i ah be back" i said to her grabbing my phones off the table and locking the door from inside. i walked over to Nari's car and got in.
"hey Markeyvius" Nari said looking at me
"wassuh Nevaeh" i said back ta ha
"you ready?" she said smiling at me and i nodded. ha luh' smile was cute ian gone cap.

we pulled up to an open grass field and i was confused asl.
"come on we here" Nari said getting out and i did the same
"it's nothing hea doe" i said looking around
"bruh don't worry just be quiet" she said going in ha trunk and getting out ah basket. "follow me" she said said i did.
"you ever been on a picnic?" she said ta me laying a blanket on da floor
"i be in da trap fuck i look like picknicking" i said causing ha ta laugh
"see i knew you would say no. come on sit" she said sitting cris cross applesauce on the blanket and patting it.
"mane i can't believe you got me out hea in da wilderness doing dis gay ass shit" i said shaking my head before sitting
she smacked ha lips. "it's gone be fun, gimme your phone"
"fa what?" i questioned
"cause you can't be distracted, now gimme" she said and i smacked my lips before passing it to ha. she pulled out some juice from da basket along wid 2 plates.
"wea da lean?" i asked ha and she started laughing
"boy first that's stuff not good for you second i look like i drink lean?" she said pulling out more shit from the basket.
"here" she passed me a cup and poured us both juice. "i brought you here cause i feel
like you were finally starting to open up to me but it was too many distractions yesterday" she said closing the juice and putting it back.
"it wasn't een nun Nari" i said shrugging
"no Key come on. i can go first if you want" she said and i shrugged making ha smack ha teeth.
"well i moved out here when i was 4 cause my dad left my mom and i when we lived in New York. my mom always told me i was a daddy's girl but i don't remember nothing. when my daddy left, i always looked for that male figure in my life. when i say male figure i mean dominant male figure, like controlling, clingy allat." she said
"damn youn gotta explain yourself shawty." i said and she shrugged.
"its whatever" she said looking away from me
"you straight na, but why you always doin dat?" i said sipping on my cup
"doing what?" she said still looking away
"always looking away when i talk ta you" i placed my cup back on da blanket
"cause when i was with Marquees he always made me scared so I don't ever look no man in they eyes" she said.
"well ian him, he ah bitch fa hitting on you" i said looking at ha
"it's cool. i'm just glad it's over" she said putting ha hair up
"if a nigga ever try dat shit again, you know whea i be at, i ah blow they brain" i said shrugging
"you don't need to be blowing no more brains Key and you just talking you don't even fw me fr" she said putting a cookie in ha mouth.
"man i do fw you, you cool people i just have a hard time opening up ta people." i explained
"why's that?" she asked me
"moms passed when i was a jit, never knew who my dad was cause he locked up fa life so it's been me and Lani da whole time. she da only person i really confide in cause she all i ever had." i said
"i feel you, but you know you can confide in me right? like i know we just met but like i dunno i don't like how you always be by yourself. it's not healthy to keep stuff in like that" she said to me
"ye.. preciate it and it's cool ta see how you and Lani act round each other" i said ta ha pulling my brush out my pocket ta brush my hair.
"that's my sister you don't have keep bringing it up Key" she laughed
"i know i appreciate it doe fa real Nari like no bluffin" our conversation got interrupted when Nari phone started to ring and she went to go pick it up.
"i thought it was no distractions" i said looking at ha. she laughed and put it back down.
"it's a no caller id anyway" she shrugged

"you had fun?" Nari asked me driving back towards da crib
"ye it was a coo luh' trip" i said "we finna do dis again dis time you don't gotta call Lani ta tell me you outside" i said looking at ha as she was driving
"you asking for my number?" she asked me focusing on the road
"what it sound like?" i asked still looking at ha
"it sound like you are" she said glancing over at me and then back on da road
"well den pass me yo phone luh' girl" she took ha phone off ha lap and passed it to me and i put my number in it and called myself ta save hers.
"don't be blowing up my shit eitha cause i ah block you" i said and she smacked ha lips
"whatever Markeyvius" she smacked her lips pulling up to my block. "well this is you" she said and we stared at each otha fa a while before i got out.
"preciate you again Nevaeh" i said before closing ha door
"it's no problem Markeyvius" she said before pulling off
