~ chapter 9 ~

after a while of splashing around in the water with the boys, anthony and bryce were play fighting in the water, kio and griffin went to get ice cream and quinton and josh were talking to these girls a bit further down the beach and me and jaden were sat on our towels watching the sun set over the ocean, i began shivering as it was getting cold and that's when i realised i haven't brought a jacket, and thinking of jackets jaden began to take off his hoodie, before i could say anything he had placed it on my lap, i look at him confused till he says it can see you shivering you know?' i smile till he says 'and i guessed you didn't have one of yours' i hugged him and said thanks and i put the hoodie on, as i went to sit back down properly jaden pulled me to him and sat me between his legs and i rested my head on his chest as he stroked me head and played with my hair with one of his hands while having the other rested on my stomach which i was playing with the rings on his hand, he has a ring that is a broken heart :

i took it off his hand and placed it on my finger and held my hand up so he could see it 'perfect my i said smiling, he slightly chuckled as i kept it on my hand for now, all the boys came over when kio and griffin got back with ice cream, i went to sit up but jaden held me back while we ate our ice cream, we were talking when jaden turned to me and said 'hey, why don't you download tiktok? i'll make one with you' 'oooo me too' bryce said 'okay...' i said as jaden picked up my phone and handed it to me to unlock, i unlocked it and he downloaded tiktok and we set it up and we made a few tiktoks <if someone can tell me how to get it so you can show tiktoks that would be great thanks :))> we ended up staying at the beach until around 11pm and we decided to head home, we dropped the boys off and i went upstairs and fell straight asleep.

i woke up to my phone ringing and i checked the called ID, it was jaden, i answered while stretching
'what's up hossler?' i questioned while yawning
'oh i'm sorry did i wake you?' he said with his morning voice sounding guilty, god this boy is making me act out
'nah it's fine, what's up?' i said 'well i wanna know if you wanted to go out for lunch in about an hour?' he said, i quickly checked the time to see it's already 11.04am 'ye sure, the boys coming?' i asked and all of a sudden he got nervous 'urm- actually.. i was hoping it would just be me and urm- you?' and all of a sudden i felt idiotic for asking and happy that's he wants to spend time with me, and a wave of confidence overtook 'oooo like a date?' and i install regretted saying it until 'ye kinda, i was hoping' he said and i got super happy 'ye okay, well i'm going to go get ready' i said without removing the smile from my face 'okay cool, i'll pick you up at 12' he said 'okay byeee' and with that i hung up, i squealed then reality hit, i needed to talk to anthony before i went anywhere so i rushed over to his room and started beating on the door till he answered
'come in morgan!' he shouted as i opened his door and said 'how did you know it was me' he was playing fortnite and said 'because dad never knocks and mum wouldn't try to break down my door' we both laughed as he finished his game
'anthony i need to talk to you' i said in a serious tone that made him revert all of his attention to me 'what's up?' he said, i felt bad already, i don't want to hurt him and i trust jaden but you never know 'urmm, jaden asked me urm out on a date and- i don't know whether to go or not because i don't want this to end bad and you two fall out or he just be friends with you for me and i just don't want you getting hurt because of my stupid mistakes and-' i was cut off by anthony saying 'morgan morgan, i get why your paranoid, but if you really like him i want you to go and if jaden does turn out to be 'that guy' then it's his loss okay?' 'promise' i said 'promise' he said reassuring me 'come here' he said opening his arms for a hug which i obviously accepted, we stayed there for a few minutes till i decide i need to get ready, i ran to the bathroom and quickly showered, after i blow dried my hair and straightened it and did some light makeup noting particularly out of the ordinary, then spend about 20 minutes picking out an outfit, i went with this:

it was nearly 12 so i quickly called bryce because i knew he would want to know, after a few rings he answered
'yooo, whats shortie' bryce shouted down the phone
'okay be quiet because i have something really important to tell you and i know you will love it' i rambled as fast as i possibly could 'okay shoot' bryce replied 'me and jaden are going on a date' i said as i felt a smile over come my face 'OMG' bryce screamed like a girl 'when you get home call me instantly and tell me everything- wait no, call and i'll come over' i laughed at how excited bryce was 'okay bryce i will' we talked for a bit till i got a text of jaden saying he was here i told bryce i had to go and ended the phone, i took a quick last glance in the mirror before shouting bye to my family to which i here back anthony shout 'use protection' i laughed as i shut the door and looked forwards to see jaden in his car, i smiled
